Bing data in the keyword difficulty and SERP analysis tool
-
Hi Guys,
I'm wondering about the exact match bing data in the Moz KWD & SERP analysis tool. We're looking at the ranking difficulty for given terms in Google but getting exact match bing numbers. Is the tool estimating Google searches from the bing data (perhaps a simple formula assuming maybe 10% search totals for Bing, 60% for Google or whatever is closest these days) or is it just raw bing numbers that we then have to upsize in order to estimate search numbers in Google?
Hope that makes some kind of sense! In other words - how are you guys using that Bing data when considering terms to target using this tool?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Cheers

Hey James,
Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, we are currently only able to provide Bing search volume because Google does not allow us access to their AdWords API. The search engine you select will be used to provide you with the top sites that are ranking for the keyword you are research, so you will see results ranking results for Google when you choose that search engine but you will only ever see Bing search volume. The search volume is not used to calculate the keyword difficulty score and it is just used to provide supplemental information about how many users may be search a particular term in general.
I hope this clears things up. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Unsolved New Google SERP Now Lazy Loading
Hello, Google has changed the way it displays it's SERPs with lazy loading new listings. Because of this the Moz Chrome Extension no longer shows results past first results. I also often find that when a site is ranked above the Maps, it doesn't display results. Is there a fix for this?

Moz Pro Question: Does the amount of keywords you are allowed to search reset each month?
I am a Moz Pro subscriber and I really love the new Keyword Explorer tool. One question I have that I couldn't find a clear answer was regarding the number of monthly keyword queries. Do they reset each month? I hope they do.

A good ranking Tool to generate reports for multiple markets
Hi, Unfortunately, Moz doesn't offer any feature to generate 1 report with the multiple keywords I have across different campaigns. Since I am running around 10-11 campaigns, it's quite time consuming to create the reports manually. Could you please suggest any good tool/service that can generate a report for multiple keywords across different campaigns ?

Keyword Rankings vs Rank Tracker
Hello, I have a question, what is the difference between these tools? I thought both are the same, just that you can see you competitors ranks on the keyword rankings... The keyword rankings tool is telling me that my competitor is ranking in some keywords.. If I go to the rank tracker tool and type the keyword and competitor url it gives me that that keyword is not in the top 50, when keyword ranking is giving me position #3 I am using in both the same Search Engine with the same country (Google Mexico) Thank you

Why does the Moz Tool Bar show code as HTML text for my site?
When I run my site in the Moz Tool bar, all of the page elements are read correctly except for HTML text. Sample page: http://www.lifeionizers.com/blog/alkaline-water/electrolyzed-reduced-water Instead of the text on that page, the tool shows Javascript code: /* With a very high character count for text (14,247).

Have there been recent changes to the On-Page Grader tool?
I use this page all the time to grade my primary and secondary keywords and for four years now have consistently managed to achieve A-C grades for all. Today however, I noticed I am flagging F grades for 50% of the keywords. I do make a note of the initial grades for all pages (as the majority of the keywords I grade using the tool are NOT added/tracked in MOZ 'campaigns'). To make sure I wasn't going mad I went back and graded some keywords I had achieved A-C grades for just 6 days ago. The changes are as follows: keyword 1 initially graded an A - 6 days later is still an A keyword 2 initially graded C and is now graded as an F keyword 3 initially graded C and now an F keyword 4 initially a C grade and now an F keyword 5 initially a B grade and has remained a B. Out of interest I then went and added one of the keywords that is now graded an F (but last week was a C) into the 'Add and manage Page Grades' section and graded once again - it's now grading this as a C. I then removed this keyword from my tracked keywords and graded again using the 'On-Page Grader' tool and ... it's back down to an 'F'. Please could you shed some light on what's going on? I don't want to track each keyword I grade over time but I do want the parameters for grading to remain the same if I use the 'On-Page Grader' tool - what's changed? I haven't received any alerts about any changes to the tool so if anyone could shed some light on any changes I would appreciate it.

Keyword Difficulty, can I change local and global search volume results from Bing to Google?
Under the Keyword Difficulty tool among the information provided to you when you complete a search is a local and global search volume. Above those numbers it says "Bing Search Volume (Exact Match)" is there any way to change this from Bing to Google? Or do I not understand what exact information they are giving me here?
