Has anyone already tried these hosting service (iPage, Just Host, a small orange and Fat Cow) ?
-
Which one is better in your experience? Please don't suggest other hosting services. I just want to know your thoughts from website management, blogging, hosting and SEO standpoint about the 4 mentioned hosting sites. Thanks in advance!

Can't believe you being an Interactive Marketing Manager fell for a cheap looking fake review affiliate site.
Except A Small Orange, the others are crap. As horrible as you can get in the hosting industry.

Hi,
I'd check out this page which compares all of of them. It appears that Just Host had the best overall rankings:

Side note: one of my friends using Fat Cow and has been satisfied with it.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone added Structured Data Markup Server Side?
I want to add some structured data to our companies website via microdata through schema.org. I have been asked to gather all of the requirements so that it can be done server side and automated when things change. I honestly don't know where to begin as there are many areas where it can be added. Has anyone done this server side before?

Many errors from previous ecommerce site. Domain is now just a localized wordpress site.
Many errors from previous ecommerce site. Do I need to redirect every single page that no longer exists at this domain? loveyourcabinets.com used to be loveyourkitchenandbath.com but we have since changed course. We want loveyourkitchenandbath.com to be our local site on Long Island and NYC. Loveyourcabinets.com will be an ecommerce project that I'll be revamping in the coming months. I think Moz as well as Google still has all of the old ecommerce pages indexed. And of course, Moz is shooting me a bunch of error all regarding pages from the ecommerce site that used to be on loveyourkitchenandbath.com. Any thoughts? Commentary? Thx

Trying a completely new design on our .co.uk should I have it on a different IP to my .com
We have just relaunched http://www.gobananas.co.uk/ and made the site much smaller than .com and dissallowed robots on 98% of the site. The goal with this site is to get users to use the search facility rather than go through our menus like we have on .com Should I host the UK site on a different IP number to the .com?Thanks

Offshore Hosting
Hello, I've got a question about offshore hosting. I have an affiliate website containing information about betting . The target market is The Netherlands. Because of legal reasons (stricter policiy and possible penalties) I would like to do the hosting of this website in another country. Does this have any SEO complications? I heard websites that are hosted in anthother coutry than the country of the target market have a lower rank. Is this true and is there anything I can do do avoid this problem? I hope someone will be able to help me! Thanx in advance.

Has Anyone Had Issues With ASP.NET 4.0 URL Routing?
I'm seeing some odd results in my SEOMOZ results with a new site I just released that is using the ASP.NET 4.0 URL routing. I am seeing thousands(!) of duplicate results, for instance, because the crawl has uncovered something like this: http://www.mysite.com/
Web Design | | TroyCarlson
http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx (so far, so good, though I wish it wouldn't show both)
http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx/about/ (what the heck -?)
http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx/about/about/ (WTF!?)
http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx/about/about/products/ (and on and on ad infinitum) I'm also seeing problems pop up in my sitemap because extensionless urls have an odd "eurl.axd/abunchofnumbersgohere" appended to the end of every address which is breaking links. sigh Buyer beware. I've found articles that discuss the "eurl.axd" issue here and there (this one seems very good), but nothing about the weird crawl issue I outlined above. Any advice?0 -
Is the server or host a metric for SERPs? Amazon Webstore a plus?
Hello Friends, I have been pondering a question that I bet Ben or some of the other clever folks this list will know. Do the search engines give a preference to sites hosted and served from larger companies like Amazon? With an Amazom Webstore, it would have our domain name but Amazon would supply much of the structure and back end like card processing and check out. Could having amazon as the server be an indicator of better results in the SERPS similar to having a stronger Domain Authority? Are there any draw backs for optimization when using an Amazon Webstore? Thank you. QP
