Need creative content idea suggestion for travel business
-
Hi everyone
It's glad for me to be a part of moz community. I'm really enjoyed.
I would love to ask if anyone is creative content expert here can share some suggestions on how to produce high quality content for travel business. As the travel industry we are focusing on is selling tours in southern asia markets such as vietnam, laos & cambodia
Currently i already come up with some ideas here
Trip Interview Articles - with commissioned writers & paid bloggers
Trip Experience/Report Articles - outsourcing to elance writers who have visited the destinations
Any unique idea better than these which can set us apart from competitors and having high ROI on SEO?
Thank you

You already provide some of the guidance (I'd assume) on what to do and where to go, why not provide them with information to make the entire experience easier.

As you said, many of your competitors may offer similar information, try to come up with information that may not be as obvious but still helpful.

Updating a Business Blog Article - Old or New Published Date
There are a few business blogs that I'm currently updating - include more details, information, case studies, statistics etc. The blog was originally published in September of 2016. Once I make the changes, do I keep the same original date or do I change the date to the day that i've uploaded the new information? Example:

Duplicate listings content
I've been listing our business on various business and wedding directories most of which require a short description of the business. I've written up a "boilerplate" description which is fairly similar to one we have on the site. If I use this content on multiple listings sites will it cause me issues with google seeing it as duplicate content and finding it difficult to decide which pages to rank? Most of these sites are supplier directories so I don't expect people to site search them for our business they are much more likely to browse categories but will it affect organic results for our actual website? Should I be writing a different piece of copy for each listing which requires a company description to avoid any issues?

Duplicate YouTube Script Content - Penalty?
I've been tasked with writing scripts for upward of 100 YouTube videos describing my company's products. In more than a few cases, the products are so similar as to be almost identical; unfortunately, they aren't and will require their own videos. If I create a "template" script, I would save hours and hours of tedium. For example: Video 1: (VOICEOVER) Buy the ABC widget today! Video 2: (VOICEOVER) Buy the XYZ widget today! So, my question is: Would I be looking at a duplicate content issue? Jeff McRichie's terrific Whiteboard Friday about YouTube Ranking Factors mentioned that YouTube has an auto-transcription feature that might expose my self-plagiarism, and I don't want to get dinged. BTW, this isn't a matter of my being too lazy to write individualized content; it's more that 1) the products are almost identical, and 2) I have just about a week to write, produce, and act(!) in all of them.

Same content on site blog as a separate blog. Will unpublishing on one blog evade duplicate content issues?
I just discovered my client was posting the same content as the site I'm working on for him on a separate blog. I don't want to run into duplicate content issues. Both are Wordpress sites. Will it suffice to simply unpublish duplicate entries on the other blog and leave the posts as drafts?

How much content is needed
I have two clients whose websites have landing pages that feature a number of product links. In order to meet SEO/Google best practices, do I need to have additional content on these specific pages or will the links suffice? (Getpaper is an ecommerce; inpak is not) Any thoughts would be appreciated. http://www.getpaper.com/find-paper/inkjet-plotter-paper/color-bond-21-lb http://www.inpaksystems.com/bag-closing/bag-sewing

What is the best practice for using the same content on two pages?
I have two websites in a very similar niche(s)...I have good unique content article that I would like to use on both sites because it adds value to the visitor experience.. Example: Science of Colors would be very useful for my seattle house painting paint colors page. I want to have content so they do not need to leave the site to navigate to second site. Would the identical content trigger a penalty or would it be crawled, ignored, and not indexed. Does having a rel=authorship on one site trump the site..Or is it a pile of BAD.
