I am getting html validation errors on my schema, is there something I've done incorrectly?
-
When I tried to validate my html after added some schema, I am getting html validation errors.
I have some examples below. Any ideas on what I've done incorrectly? www.mexpro.com
Line 9, Column 80: there is no attribute "itemprop"
`…ontent="http://www.mexpro.com/mexico/images/mexpro-logo.jpg" itemprop=**"**logo" />`_L Line 130, Column 23_: "itemscope" is not a member of a group specified for any attribute `itemtype="http://schema.org/Organization">`

Hi Rox,
I think the problem is because of the Doctype of that page. If you select HTML 5 from the doctype dropdown, you won't get any HTML validation errors related the schema.
In summary, it's not worth worrying about.
I hope this helps,
Craig

Can you send a screenshot and/or additional information. I checked your site on Google's Rich Snippets tool and couldn't duplicate the error.

Error report in Bing Evaluated size of HTML....
Hi Whilst checking Bing's SEO analyser I got this error message for our page www.tidy-books.co.uk/childrens-bookcases "Evaluated size of HTML is estimated to be over 125 KB and risks not being fully cached. (Issue marker for this rule is not visible in the current view)" Just wondering what needs to be done about it and what it actually means? Thanks

Schema Address Question
I have a local business with a contact page that I want to add schema markup to. However, I was wondering if having the address with schema info on the contact page instead of the home page has any adverse effects on the rich snippet showing up in search. There's no logical place to add schema for a local business on the home page, so having it on the contact page—not in the footer or sidebar—is the only option.

Should I worry about these 404's?
Just wondering what the thought was on this. We have a site that lets people generate user profiles and once they delete the profile the page then 404's. I was told there is nothing we can do about those from our developers, but I was wondering if I should worry about these...I don't think they will affect any of our rankings, but you never know so I thought I would ask. Thanks

Why isn't Google pushing my Schema data to the search results page
I believe we have it set up right. I'm noticing all my competitors schema data is showing up which is really giving them a leg up on us. We have a high ranking website so I'm just not sure why it's now showing up. Here is an example URL http://www.airgundepot.com/3576w.html I've used the Google webmaster tools tester and it all looks fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Adding .html To Wordpress Site
I am working on a team (my part is the SEO) where the developer added the .html extension to the permalinks. I don't understand why, on Wordpress, you would do this. Is there any benefit, or penalty for it as an SEO standpoint? I usually just set mine up %postname% as the permalink structure, but I am not the web design lead on this project. I asked the designer why, but he seems to be reluctant to answer any of my emails about his work, (like he is above that or something). Not wanting to make things worse, I dropped it and thought I would ask here since I saw a few posts in reference to it today in the forum. Is there an advantage or disadvantage (either way) to using the .html extension on a Wordpress site?

Hello everybody, my question is really simple: what's the purpose of a sitemap? It's to help the robots to crawl your website but if you're website has a good architecture, the robots will be able to crawl your site easily! Am I wrong? Thank you for yours answers, Jonathan
