Results clustered in blue below the main result
-
There are multiple results that appear in blue below the main result for a query from a particular domain. For example, if I search 'mobile phones online' on google.co.uk, the result field from www.dialaphone.co.uk shows me multiple results clustered in blue - 'HTC One Silver', 'Samsung', 'iPhone5S', 'Free Gifts'.
I am trying to understand what these are, and why these show up. Ideally, I would like the results for my domain to show up in a similar fashion, and am wondering if there is something special that I would need to do in this regard.
Thanks

Hi! Thanks for your response. This is really helpful.

They are called site links and I'm sorry to say you can't control if they appear. Google gives them to popular sites. See Google info on it if you need any more https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/47334?hl=en
Hope that helps?

How to get stars in my search results?
Is it possible for me to take my Google reviews and show them under my homepage as stars when my page is shown in search results. I provide a service, so I don't have separate product reviews. My homepage is what ranks most in the searches I target. If this is possible, what is the best way to do it technically? I have a wordpress site. Thank you in advance!

Google is showing erroneous results on SERPs page
Hello, All, In April, two months ago, we caught a hack on a client's website. It created about 40 pages in what looked to be a black hat link tactic. We removed the pages, resubmitted the sitemap.xml (it reprocessed) and ran it through screaming frog to confirm all the pages were gone, but the forty pages still show up in the search results for a site search. We have both the www. and non www. version of sites claimed and set a preference. Nothing is awry with the robots.text. We're not really sure what to do to resolve it. We asked Google to recrawl (fetch) the site. I'm not sure what's going on with it. The website's name is fortisitsolutions.com The site search bringing up the pages from the hack is below. site:www.fortisitsolutions.com Any ideas?

How to format URL if main key word is my domain name?
Hello All! I have a question about having my search term in my URL when the first two words are actually my domain name. For example, my domain is plutobeach.com and I want to optimize for events. Which is better? plutobeach.com/events plutobeach.com/plutobeach-events Is the latter keyword stuffing? I'm using the on-page grader here and wondering how much of a difference that can make. Thanks! Steve

Do Google's mobile friendly updates effect visibility on desktop results pages?
Google say that their quest to make websites more mobile friendly impacts mobile search results - https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2016/03/continuing-to-make-web-more-mobile.html But I am wondering if having a website that is less mobile friendly effects desktop SERPs as well? We require Adobe Flash as a tool for people to upload their images to us but not on the landing pages we're trying to rank. So our landing pages are not as mobile friendly as they could be (which we're looking to improve) but am worried this is effecting desktop search results even though Google do not claim they do.

Click to Call Showing Below Organic Result?
I noticed this about a week ago and can't find any info on it. Basically below some ORGANIC results, when searching on mobile, I'm seeing the option to instantly call the company. http://vzp.ro/1oDV30g (this is a link to my Google Drive where I saved my mobile screenshot.) Anyone know how to achieve it or where it's pulling that data from My original though was schema or it's basis is from a Google+ Brand page. I didn't see any specific markup on the site when I went via desktop so not 100% sure even where to start. Cheers Darin. 1oDV30g

Author snippet image in results, question!
Hi, Quick question really, I can see how a Google+ profile picture showing up in the results can increase CTR and even trust but would this be a no no for a normal website? I mean if you had a website which offered personal training, so a brand rather than an individual would you not use this snippet? I've seen some website, even ecommerce sites using this tag to just increase their CTR.

Thoughts on Results from Changing Title Tags
A number of the client's we represent have seen drops in rankings. The title tags on these sites are formatted old way of doing tilte: "Blue Widgets| Cheap Widgets | Metal Widgets". We are going to change them to the natural format: Acme Offers Blue, Metal Widgets for Any Budget." Just wondering if anyone has made similar changes post-penguin and if they've seen improved ranking from doing it.
