Hey Gerry,
Sorry for the delayed reply. The Q&A questions only get directly assigned to the Help Team if they are marked as a product support question.
I just looked into the campaign associated with this account and I don't see that we have been reporting any 404 errors on this site, but I do see that the campaign was just created on Nov 26th, so it seems that you may have deleted and recreated the campaign. Since we are no longer reporting any 404s, I can't look into the issue directly now, but if you run into this issue again, I would recommend sending an email directly to help@moz.com so we can investigate what may be causing the issue.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Most likely is a Moz error. As far as I know, Roger (Moz crawler) automatically adjusts the speed depending on the site performance, I guess watching for the response times, as they crawled sites too fast, they could be either bring down your server or have their IPs blocked as a security measure. It does that automatically. However, sometimes our Websites can become slow and therefore instead of a 200 status code (success load) it gets a 404 as the server isn't responding.
Are you behind a shared server? Were you able to see Roger crawling your site? There are some free services that allows you to make some stress tests to see if your server is responding well, even under pressure.
This shouldn't have anything to do with the fact that the pages are not showing in Google, but, if you are having server issues with regular downtimes, Google may remove pages that they consider gone from your site. Google already said that a couple of 404 errors isn't enough to remove a page from their index, however, a 404 over 3 - 5 days might.
Have you verified your site on GWT? They do show crawling errors, and if they are also getting 404s they should appear there.
Hope that helps!

Wordpress 404 Errors
Hi Guys, One of my clients is scratching his head after a site migration. He has moved to wordpress and now GWT is creating weird and wonderful strange 404 errors. For example http://www.allsee-tech.com/digital-signage-blog/category/clients.html There are loads like the above which seem to be made up out of his blog and navigation http://www.allsee-tech.com/clients.html works! Any ideas? Is it a rogue plugin? How do we fix? Kind Regards Neil

Local City Pages
Anyone have any input on the tactics being used for a national company trying to target local city pages. For instance, you might be a national printing company and you are trying to compete against local printers in cities by creating a specific page for that city + print keywords.

Is the Authority of Individual Pages Diluted When You Add New Pages?
I was wondering if the authority of individual pages is diluted when you add new pages (in Google's view). Suppose your site had 100 pages and you added 100 new pages (without getting any new links). Would the average authority of the original pages significantly decrease and result in a drop in search traffic to the original pages? Do you worry that adding more pages will hurt pages that were previously published?

Drupal duplicate pages
Anyone else encountered massive numbers of duplicate pages being reported on SEO Moz crawls for Drupal based sites? I assumed it was b/c there was no redirect on the print format pages, so I fixed that with a cannonical tag. But still seeing 2 or 3 duplicate pages reported for many pages. Any experience fixing this would be awesome to hear about. Thanks, Kevin

Dealing with 404 pages
I built a blog on my root domain while I worked on another part of the site at .....co.uk/alpha I was really careful not to have any links go to alpha - but it seems google found and indexed it. The problem is that part of alpha was a copy of the blog - so now soon we have a lot of duplicate content. The /alpha part is now ready to be taken over to the root domain, the initial plan was to then delete /alpha. But now that its indexed I'm worried that Ill have all these 404 pages. I'm not sure what to do.. I know I can just do a 301 redirect for all those pages to go to the other ones in case a link comes on but I need to delete those pages as the server is already very slow. Or does a 301 redirect mean that I don't need those pages anymore? Will those pages still get indexed by google as separate pages? Please assist.

Cache my page
So I need to get this page cached: http://www.flowerpetal.com/index.jsp?info=13 It's been 4-5 months since uploaded. Now it's linked to from the homepage of a PR5 site. I've tweeted that link 10 times, facebooked, stumbled, linked to it from other articles and still nothing. And I submitted the url to google twice. Any thoughts? Thanks Tyler
