Page Speed

Google recommends a page load speed of 1.4 seconds, is it recommended to have that page speed for every page on the site, or just the landing pages. Is there a tool that will check the load speed of every page on a site and report the slow pages?
The free online tools only check one page at a time.

Jeffs got some great point. Users are lazy and they dont like to wait and they wont so a good speed is a good idea!

Google won't give you a penalty if you cant test something so the above will let you test the speed. Google is pretty neat like that.

Yes, a fast load time for your pages is a strong signal to Google and other search engines that you care about the end user experience. People like pages that load quickly.
The http://tools.pingdom.com/ site is a great place to start. It's free, but you can only do one page at a time.
I would start with your home page, and other top traffic pages, and look at what you can do to better optimize them. Look at what files and requests from the page load test take a long, long time to load. Usually this is a common theme across your entire website, so fixing it in one place will help the entire site.
My recommendation would be to use a type of caching system, that reduces the load on the server. Caching essentials turns a database-driven site (where all of your menu items, products, content, call-outs) require you to hit your database, and turn it into a basic HTML page.
Varnish is a good caching system (free) but there are others, too. They do take time to set up and configure. But once you do, it will help all of your pages on the site load much more quickly.
Beyond that, you can try to minimize your CSS using several services, too, and reduce image load times via a CDN (content delivery network). Many of the top hosting providers will give you CDN access for your media files, either included with hosting or for a small extra fee. It's worth it and can really speed up a site.
Finally, don't go cheap on your Web hosting. A $5.95 per month account with Godaddy is not going to perform like a finely-tuned dedicated server that has plenty of memory to handle lots of people hitting your site at the same time.
We once took someone from a 45 second page load time to under 4 seconds, simply by changing their hosting provider.

Page grader says we are keyword stuffing but we arn't. Page source shows different story.
Hi community! We have just run a page grader for the keyword 'LED Bulbs' on whichledlight.com and it comes up that we are keyword stuffing! However, a brief look at the source for the homepage and there's only 6 times that LED Bulbs pops up. We do have the non plural version of the word 'LED Bulb' on the page 27 times.. do we think that would contribute to the keyword stuffing? Thanks!!

Geotargeting on Home Page
I work on a website that have listings across the country. Is it possible for us to geotarget the home page of the website to cater to the person based on location so we can show the geogargeting links, articles, videos on the home page and direct the user in the right direction. Duplicate Page Content on Empty Manufacturer Pages
I work for an internet retailer that specializes in pet supplies and medications. I was going through the Crawl Diagnostics for our website, and I saw in the Duplicate Page Content section that some of our manufacturer pages were getting flagged. The way our site is set up is that when products are discontinued we mark them as discontinued and use 301 redirects to redirect their URLs to other relevant products, brands, or our homepage. We do the same thing with brand and manufacturer pages if all of their products are discontinued. 90% of the time, this is a manual process. However, the other 10% of the time certain products come and go automatically as part of our inventory system with one of our fulfillment partners. This can sometimes create empty manufacturer pages. I can't redirect these empty pages because there's a chance that products will be brought back in stock and the page will be populated again. What can we do so that these pages won't get marked as duplicates while they're empty? Write unique short descriptions about the companies? Would the placement of these short descriptions matter--top of the page under the category name vs bottom of the page underneath where the products would go? The links in the left sidebar, top, and in the footer our part of our site architecture, so those are always going to be the same. Different pages for OS's vs 1 Page with Dynamic Content (user agent), what's the right approach?
We are creating a new homepage and the product are at different stages of development for different OS's. The value prop/messaging/some target keywords will be different for the various OS's for that reason. Question is, for SEO reasons, is it better to separate them into different pages or use 1 page and flip different content in based on the user agent?

Dupelicate content home page and custom page question
I am working on a website that got hit by the penguin update. Didn't get hit terribly bad, but dropped from number one to number 9. As I'm going through the pages, the theme and content is a mess. To give an example, say the site is about custom colored marbles. The main page content covers custom colored marbles, custom promotional marbles, custom glass marbles, etc. Custom colored marbles is mentioned and covered on all pages, which I am going back and trying to make each page theme specific. There is also a custom page, so I am at a cross roads on how best to employ the focus of the custom page and the home page. I am thinking the home page should emphasize colored marbles, and the custom page should emphasize custom colored marbles. My fear is that making such a drastic change will bounce the site completely off front page and that it will take time for the custom page to come up in rankings. AS it stands now I am confused as to how it even ranks on first page as there's two pages with custom colored marbles emphasis. Id like to clean this up as much as possible so there are no big hits with future google updates, but I don't want the site to drop off either as that would be hard to explain to the owner. Yeah, we are cleaning up your site and making it google compliant and in so doing you no longer rank on first page. That won't put food on the table. Thanks for any advise on this.

Duplicate page titles
We have search results pages on our site. They share the same page title, there is no real differentiator between the result pages, other than page 1, page 2 etc. How do we de-dup the titles? just add page 1/2/3 etc to the end of them?

Landing page too long
In my first seomoz test I have many tilte pages for products that are over 70 charachers long. The part #'s are long like 10-782-10-10-10-PPxxxx etc. All these part #'s are not my key products and I could delete or truncate. My question is if the part numbers are not that important, is it OK to leave them as is or is ranking being damaged because they exist?
