Internal Linking From Blog to Website

Hi all,
I'm just seeking opinions on something an external company have told us about linking from our blog to our website...
Our website is; www.XYZ.com and our blog is www.XYZ.com/blog
I add content to the blog on an almost daily basis and generally link on average 3 times from the blog (internally) to a various relevant pages on our website.
Today I was told that by doing this I am 'diluting' the link juice which I understand but don't agree with...
All I am doing is a form of internal linking which as far as I am aware is a good on-page technique?
Just curious to learn other people's view on this...

I think that the three questions one must ask are...
Q1: Why are you writing?
Q2: What is the content quality?
Q3: Why are you linking?
A1: On my site I am writing because I have something to say that I genuinely believe that people want to know and should read. I am also doing a lot of writing because I know that there is search volume for the content. I am trying to produce a quality content resource for the visitor. I am not blathering.
A2: My goal is to produce several hundred to a few thousand words of content with several great photos, interesting graphs, attractive graphics and tabulated data. Before I write, I make sure that I am going to produce content that will be one of the best pages on the web for that topic. It is high quality content deliberately produced because people are searching for it. I am not blathering just to get a page up. This content can take several days per page to produce.
A3: When I link, I am linking to additional information that the reader might want. Often that content is on my own website and for that my links are similar to the in-content links on wikipedia - where a keyword links to another page on my site that matches the topic perfectly. I also often link to several other pages on websites that I don't own and those links are going to content that is superior to mine in some way. Again like wikipedia.
If you are writing and linking with a purpose then you might be doing well. You can assess that by determining if visitors are "liking" or "sharing" your content. If that is happening then you are doing fine. If that is not happening then maybe you are blathering because you want to put links in the content. If that is the case I would post less often and post higher quality. It will be a greater bang for the buck.

As far as "link juice dilution", that can too often be a shiny object, and if you're following other proper content creation concepts, it's a non-factor as Wiqas says.
So the better focus is do you meet quality/relevance/trust requirements?
- Do the links point to main content that is actually relevant to the content of the blog articles?
- Is there enough content in each article to justify three links, or are the articles too "thin" on unique depth?
- Are the articles valuable to your prospective reader as a stand alone piece of content that informs, educates and or entertains?
- Are you being formulaic in a potential over-optimization way? (same volume of content on each article, sticking with three links every time, overly repeating links to specific destination pages, etc.)
These are the biggest questions that need to be answered because the higher the quality / more diverse the patterns / least over-optimized, the more likely the links will help in general.

Problem with internal links.
Hello,I am trying to do an audit of the internal links of my site at zenplugs.com. I am having great difficulty simply trying to establish how many internal links there are on the home page. Off the top of my head I think there are probably 20-25 but Screaming Frog tells me there are 574, the MozBar is listing zero and Open Site Explorer is telling me my site hasn't been indexed yet. I have tried several web based services but most of them don't work. Can anyone recommend a tool which has given them a number they trust? My second query is that one of the tools told me that there are 4 links on the home page with no anchor text, linking to http://zenplugs.com/#. Is this a problem? Many thanks, in advance. Toby

Too many page links warning... but each link has canonical back to main page? Is my page OK?
The Moz crawl warns me many of my pages have too many links, like this page http://www.webjobz.com/jobs/industry/Accounting ...... has 269 links but many of the links are like this /jobs/jobtitles/Accounting?k=&w=3&hiddenLocationID=463170&depth=2 and are used to refine search criteria.... when you click on those links they all have a canonical link back to http://www.webjobz.com/jobs/industry/Accounting Is my page being punished for this? Do I have to put "no follow" tags on every link I do not want the bots to follow and if I do so is Roger (moz bot) not going to count this as a link?

Link Structure
On my site I have a dropdown menu going across the page at the top to all of my categories on each page, I also have a similar structure going down the side going to the same categories, is this acceptable or would Google count this as double the internal links?

Website tables
Hi guys , my website www.starpluservices.com on google first page for the past 2 years and we were page rank 4, 2 months ago we changed all page titles and Keewords after that the page rank droped to 1 and we are not anymore in page 1 in google, we have done all this changes to target another keyword Office Cleaning London, now after 2 months I had 3 quotes for SEO , and 2 SEO companies told me that I need a new website because my one was done with tables and the other company told me that if I still on first page with some keywords andon the 2 page with cleaning companies to dont make a new website just update my one!! How to best use our blog posts for SEO?
My company recently created a WordPress hosted blog. It is hosted completely separate from our company site. The primary domain for the blog is blog.mydomainname.com, but we immediately created a folder within our company website for www.mydomainname.com/blog that has a reverse proxy to the blog itself. I'm curious though if we should consider taking the content from the blog posts and re-creating that within our company website as well? The blog posts are very good SEO rich content, and we always struggle to find new content to put on our company website as it is already. Would like to get some folks thoughts on this. Thanks!

Anchor text on outbound links on a blog, relevancy detrimental or positive?
We have a blog related to computer support, and we have been using guest posts and promotion of those posts to boost freshness and rankings of the blog. We have been restricting outbound links to prevent words such as 'computer repair, 'computer support' etc, because we were under the impression that if we want to rank for those words, we should only allow INCOMING links with that anchor text, and that outbound links from the page, would rob the other parts of the site of the link juice this page provides. My question is, is this wrong? Should I freely allow outbound links on my blog page that contain anchor text that I my self am trying to rank for? Or was I correct initially? Current the anchor text is in 'related' industries, such as mobile apps, technology news, etc...things that google might think are 'related', but not exactly what the site is about.
