Moz Local Canada

Any information on when Moz Local will be available in CanadaÉ

Hi AlpsKiosks,
I want to be sure I'm understanding your question correctly. If you are trying to list a business physically located in Canada, I'm afraid Moz Local is not a good match for you. But, if you're saying that you are trying to list the businesses of your US-based clients, then Moz Local will work for that. As with any citation building strategy (whether manual or automated) it's all about the physical location of the business, and at this time, Moz Local supports US-based businesses solely. Hope this explanation is helpful, but please let me know if you have any further questions about this!

Although our business is located in Canada, our Inquiries, prospective clients are from the US and we're targeting the US market. Is Moz local good for us?

That's really sad. I understand the work that must go into these programs, but it will be sorely missed this side of the Atlantic. There was a get listed for the UK I believe for a short time, but was cancelled due to issues. I had always hoped that would get sorted... instead it's been scrapped.

Thanks for the feedback and interest! You're correct, we only services U.S. businesses at this point, and international locations are not in our near-term roadmap. We'll keep you posted of our product plans going forward.
Best,
Jackie

I wish Moz had branded it differently as it's very frustrating that it's US only and there is no mention of it really. (HINT HINT Moz)

Utilizing the Moz Location in keywords vs including the location in the actual keyword phrase
I've searched the Moz blog as well as Q&A forums - but I specifically have a question about utilizing the Moz Location in keywords vs including the location in the actual keyword phrase. I've done both and get different rankings. For instance, I have "it company" with the Location set to Corpus Christi, Texas and our rank is #3. Then I also have "it company corpus christi" with the Location set to Corpus Christi, Texas and our rank is #6. Additionally, I threw in "it company corpus christi" with the Location set to National and our rank is #7. What is the best practice and what are the determining factors for the differences? Thank you in advance!

Why is on-demand crawl reporting numbers that are very different than the regualr site crawl by Moz?
When I look at the site crawl available through my dashboard, it reports 22.9K pages crawled. I just ran a on-demand crawl and it is only reporting 6K pages crawled. Why is the number so much lower?

Why do my search results differ from MOZ's rank tracker
This is starting to happen a lot, i mean they weren't always an exact match but they differed by a few places. But now the gap between results I'm getting and MOZ's own rank tracker is quite large. For my keyword my page ranks on MOZ at 39 (it was 25 but has slipped down). Im seeing my page on page 1 locally and page 2 in incognito mode. Now I understand there are other factors such as browser history, cookies, am i logged into gmail etc. Thats why I asked colleagues to use Internet explorer and they have nothing to do with SEO so their history wont affect the search. They report seeing it on page 2, even colleagues in a different office in a different city sees it on page 2. I want to contact the department in question and share the good news that they've gone from none existent to 14th in what is a very competitive area. But MOZ's result has be second guessing whether I should. Any ideas why the gap between results is so large? Thanks

Issues adding keywords to MOZ analytics
Hi All 🙂 I've started a couple of campaigns in MOZ Analytics, one accepts keywords the other looks like it does but doesn't actually add them.. I'm pasting a group of keywords, about 30, all separated with comma's. Doing exactly the same to one account that congratulated me straight away and added them to the list below, yay! The other shows the spinning wheel for a few seconds and does nothing further, I've waited a good 24 hours and they keywords have not appeared. Any help appreciated! Thanks 🙂

Moz Analytics Beta
Just got the access to this, but my campaigns don't seem to be showing. Anyone know why this might be?

New website launched 3 weeks ago but not sure what Moz Analysis is telling me?
Hi 3 weeks ago I re-branded and completely changed the proposition on www.over50choices.co.uk as the URL is appropriate to the proposition. And whilst it looks good I am unsure what the Moz Tools are telling me, other than it doesnt look good? There should be about 163 pages, but Moz reports over 500 due to i think so many 301's? Plus most pages under the HTTP Status reports No Data! Most of the the 404's are from the old site. Webmaster Tools say 163 pages submitted but only 2 indexed, but on site:search it says about 117 but 40+ of these are the old site. It looks a mess...! Sleepless nights have started - any thoughts!? Thanks Ash
