How do I get Bing to recognize my site as a "News" source?
-
We are a publisher printing a magazine with corresponding news on our website and would like to be included (obviously) into the Bing news area, any tips on getting Bing to notice and include us?
-
I don't personally have any experience with this, but I have heard that it's harder than getting into Google News. Until someone else chimes in, this post at Search Engine Roundtable might help. http://www.seroundtable.com/bing-news-13146.html

Free PR Sites
Is it advantagous to post to PR sites such as this one: http://www.i-newswire.com/fitness-professional-online-launches/218349 I've seen posts like these on several sites - same post on multiple sites. I'm wondering if it's even worth having them on one, or multiple. Thoughts?

Best way to set up a support site - sub domain, separate site or com/support?
My company is setting up our support site. It has been suggested that we set it up as a separate domain - www.company-support.com, rather than setting it up as a sub-domain (www.support.company.com) or the usual www.company.com/support. The person who proposed this believes it wlll create link juice, but i wonder if splitting the traffic will create more harm than good? Opinions please!

Hi. I've added my site to dmoz.org 3-4 months ago or something. Still not accepted (surprise..) Anyway, i was wondering if there is any other sites like dmoz.org i can add my site to? (Free sites, not interested in the countless "pay for express listing"-sites).

One client, one b2b site and one b2c site - linking relationship
I have a client that has 2 websites in a particular industry. The first website concentrates on advertising services and products to other organisations/companies but does not sell anything online. The second website is an ecommerce site with many products from the same industry and is more a b2c operation. Would it be considered ok to add maybe 5 footer links from one to the other and vice versa? considering that they are footer links and will ultimately increase total links pointing to both site exponentially. Both sites are hosted in the same location.
