AdWords Different Budgets on Different Days
-
I have a single campaign and this is what I want.
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri to have a budget of $270 per day
Wed to have a budget of $324 per day
Sat, Sun to have a budget of $432 per dayCurrently, the only way I can see to do this is to have three separate campaigns, which is very disagreeable. Please tell me there's something I'm overlooking.
Thanks

Wow, that was ridiculous! Thanks.

You can adjust campaign budgets by day. it's just not obvious where.
- All online campaigns
- Campaign tab
- Automate button (to the right of the create Campaign button). Be sure to check only those campaigns you want to automate
- Change Daily Budget When...
- The real trick here is Frequency. To change your budget on a given day, you need use Weekly and then you can specify by day.
Remember to do the math. This method increases or decreases budgets, it does not have an option to directly say "On Monday i want to spend $x and Tuesday spend $y", you have to have it adjust the budget based on the budget WHEN IT HAPPENS. So on Tuesday your budget is $270. On Wed you will increase your budget by $54 and then you'll want another rule to remove that $54 on Thu.
If you elect to do percentages you can't just say "raise by 20% then lower by 20%" or you'll start creeping your budget. To make a 20% boost work you have to increase the amount you decrease by. For instance, we used to drop our Thu spend by 36%. That meant the boost had to be 56.25% (small rounding error but acceptable) on Fri to go back to where it was.

Intermediate Adwords Course
I've got a decent understanding of Adwords however want to now take it to another level. Is there a course anyone can recommend that enables me to understand Adwords thoroughly to an expert level? I would classify myself as an intermediate at this point with a good foundational understanding, but far short of comprehensive. I'm looking for a video course and allow me to understanding everything to a deep level and how to execute strategies that can be effective.

How to track in Google Analytics 2 different subdomains (one for website, the other for PPC landing pages)
Hello Mozers! I have a website with organic visits/goals on www.site.com and a few AdWords Campaign landing pages on lp.site.com whose goals are tracked with both adwords conversion monitoring AND analytics (not imported from analytics into Adword). The landing pages of the campaign have nothing to do with the web site (different cms, they don't link each other, totally isolated) and viceversa. Given that, what would it be the best practice to configure Google Analytics to track the website (www.site.com) AND a PPC campagin (lp.site.com)? I have been told to set up different views of the same property, but do I really need that? Please let me know what are you thinking. Thank you very much. DoMiSoL Rossini

Adwords quality score is bull?
Is it me or is Google Adwords quality score a load of bull. I use part numbers as my keywords and have virtually the same landing page for each one. The only difference is the order of the paragraphs in my descriptions, the product attributes and the SKU. so why does one part get an 7 and the other a 5? Surely they should be the same?

AdWords *free* vouchers hurt SEO?
Maybe it was the penguin, or maybe it was Panda, but around about the time of the three updates close together and the rumoured 'parked domain' update that went wrong, I used a free adwords voucher. The site in question used to rank for practically every search term relevant to the niche. Now, I can search back to 60 pages in Google results and nothing. Now, I know its not been de-indexed, it still there when I search for info:TheDomainInQuestion.co.uk It also has 6 site links when searching for the url alone. Each and every page is hand written original content built up over many years and also edited and updated regularly. On linkdetective, I have a very nice rainbow type graph regarding the type of links and also a very very good spread of anchors. 118 different phrases pointing in and aside from one site that linked to me sitewide (16000+ but since removed and now down to 3300 and dropping almost daily). Even with that, the highest percentage of anchor text was 20%. Basically, gone through practically everything that is available on the web about combating penguin and panda, yet the site kept dropping and has disappeared completely for keyword phrases. Might sound a bit paranoid, but could Google have done this on purpose to try to make me carry on with adwords?

Curious about Adwords keyword tool results.
Why the Google Adwords Keywords tool says there are 0 local monthly searches for a keyword or shows a dash, but in spite of this there's competition for those keywords (up to 0.42 in some cases) ? Thanks!!

Facebook PPC - Number of Clicks According to FB Different Than Visits in Analytics?
Hi There So I was trying out my first FB ads with a client. I see according to FB there were 105 clicks. But according to google analytics there were only 69 visits. I am counting visits from facebook.com and apps.facebook.com Any reason for this discrepancy, or any tips? Am I missing something? Thanks! 687sfgMVaE 1j56Pm7nD
