Is there something wrong with the code? Can't make the "stars" to appear in the search.
Testing tool shows that everything is OK.
-
Contraire mon frere! You can have the content appear to visitors above the fold but have the content of the code appear far down the page using CSS content folding. That's definitely worth a read! Search for articles on that and you'll see what I mean.
-
Thanks for the tips. These are great!
I am new to the company who runs this website. We are working hard on "above the fold" but old contracts do not allow to remove some ads right now. So we have to wait.
-
Well after taking a quick peek, it seems you are a directory. You should really read up on how Google treats directories, especially when it comes to SEO. I say this because after 10 random clicks on your site, I never got to a page with any content. All links, so that is very likely hurting you. Something else is the ads on your site above the fold without any content. There was big news about that late last year.
Looks like you could add quite a bit on the structure data side of things, like for people, events, companies, etc. Also, take your text out of your images and publish it in HTML so Google can read it.
-
Looks like you're using mcroformat, opengraph, and microdata. Google promotes Schema.org so you should use that.
Also, get a Google+ account and establish authorship, then include that, too.
-
I'm like 99% sure that it is relevant.
You can rate the company.... You think that reviews should help? But no one is reviewing here it's just a simple vote form.
-
I don't remember the exact wording but I have seen errors on some of my pages in the past that the rich snippets won't show because the content in the snippet is not relevant to the content on the page. Something like that.
What should be showing that's not there?
-
Your snippets are showing fine, but you should mark up your reviews section. Also best not to mix schemas.
Can you comment more about this? Should we give up on any schema?
-
I know that testing tool shows OK. But we never get that in Google, while our "enemies" get it fine. (Two months past... )

Use the Google Rich Snippet Testing tool http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Pages canonicaled to another appearing before the canonical on google searches
Hello, When I do this google search, this page(amandine roses category) appears before the one it is canonical-ed to(this multi-product version of amandine roses). This happens often with this multi-product template, where they don't rank as well as their category version(that are canonical to the multi-product version). Can someone maybe point us in the right direction on what the issue may be? What can be improved?

What makes a site appear in Google Alerts? And does it mean anything?
Hi All, I recently started using Google Alerts more and more and while sites I support never appear there (not surprising) I recently noticed few very poor and low quality sites that do. This site for example appears quite a bit in its niche. So to my questions... What makes a site appear in Google Alerts? And does it mean anything? Thanks

Internal Search Results Appear in Google SERPS
My friend is running an ecommerce store selling apparels. How can we make internal search results to appear in Google SERPS and rank them? For example: the query is "peplum dress". You type the query into the internal search box and it returns a set of results. In this case, it's product listing. How can we optimize and rank it so it appears in Google SERP? Do we do it the traditional way in terms of links? Say URL is: http://www.asos.com/search/peplum-top?q=peplum+top&r=2 And we build links to it? Some of you may ask why not create a dedicated page for this, the reason being we'd have too many categories if we were to create one for each. Thoughts?

Rich snippets showing on some pages but not others
Hi, I have rich snippet mark up showing in serps for some pages but not others. All pages test fine using Googles structured data testing tool. Whats really annoying is that they seem to appear for some pages but not others within the same directory / page format. None of googles troubleshooting suggestions on the issue are a problem i.e. Does your markup follow our usage guidelines? Is your marked-up content hidden from users? Is your markup incorrect or misleading? Is your marked-up content representative of the main content of the page? Have you supplied enough information? Have you only recently updated your content? Does your markup include incorrect nesting? Reviews: Does your review use count instead of vote? There are alot of instances when the same mark up is used twice e.g. on product x page in one directory and on product x page in a different directory (theres no dupe content). I wondered if that could be a reason but there are alot of instances when product x in directory a has the snippet when it doesnt in directory b. There doesnt seem to be an identifiable pattern as to why one page whould show the snippet and not another. Any feedback appreciated. Happy to pm example pages. Andy

Location appearing on search result. how can this be achieved?
I'm pretty sure this site is not doing any SEO but i think what made them no. 1 is the location. I already tried adding a google publisher tag to my site that points to my google page which contains my address but i still can't have the location appear.. here's a screenshot of the search result that i want to achieve: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tbdv3121rrs6zp5/Screen Shot 2013-04-15 at 9.39.30 AM.png Screen%20Shot%202013-04-15%20at%209.39.30%20AM.png

Need help identifying why my content rich site was hurt by the Panda Update.
Hi - I run a hobby related niche new / article / resource site (http://tinyurl.com/4eavaj4) which has been heavily impacted by the Panda update. Honestly I have no idea why my Google rankings dropped off. I've hired 2 different SEO experts to look into it and no one has been able to figure it out. My link profile is totally white hat and stronger then the majority of my competitors, I have 4000+ or so pages of unique, high quality content, am a Google News source, and publish about 5 new unique articles every day. I ended up deleting a 100 or so thin video pages on my site, did some url reorganization (using 301s), and fixed all the broken links. That appeared to be helping as my traffic was returning to normal. Then the bottom dropped out again. Since Saturday my daily traffic has dropped by 50%. I am really baffled at this point as to what to do so any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks, Mike jamescrayton2003@yahoo.com
