Why my authority is decreasing?

My autorithy has recentrly decreased from 13 to 10..somebody knows what could be the reason and how I cna improve/correct this?

Domain Authority is logarithmic and compares your site against all of the other sites in the Moz index. Sites can be compared against one another within a specific crawl, but you can't reasonably compare your own site crawl to crawl - since each crawl may end up pulling in information for different sites which therefore adjusts your placement within the overall scheme of authority. Fluctuations between a few points (like 10 and 13) is therefore completely normal.
In short - your authority probably hasn't "decreased", it's just that the index from the latest crawl has a higher median number of LRDs than the previous index.

Domain Authority is also an important factor to improve your blog ranking in search engine.Domain Authority ( also known as DA ) is calculation of certain cause made by SEOmoz (a big shot in the world of Search Engine Optimization) to show authority of a website. It’s like Alexa Ranking and Google Page Rank but webmasters and Advertisers pay special attention on DA as it is calculated by considering both.
As you know that Domain & Page Authority of website can be increase & decreases. If you do quality link building according Google Algorith then you will have increase in Domain & Page autority, so overall website reputation increases but if don't perform the Google guidelines then Page & domain autority decreases, also website reputaion decreases.

My domain authority is low in MOZ and high in other apps
_I checked my site in other SEO apps and they are showing a higher DA for my site. However, in MOZ is very low. Can you please explain it to me? _what caused the difference?

Page Authority and Google updates favouring websites with black hat practices ?
Can someone explain how is it that most of the competitors I have online and that rank in first page of the search results almost entirely get links ( in the thousands) and still have higher or equal domain/page authority than mine? I went 1 by 1 checking all their links and they mostly come from sex pages, and non related sites. I say stop creating angry pandas and penguins and start taking out of the game people that just play dirty. Thanks.

Inherited a site - no progress being made, no authority?
Hi all, would really appreciate some input on this one. I've been given the task of optimising a website which was built by another company. It's a Wordpress site using Jigoshop. It wasn't in the best of states, and I don't claim that it is now, though we've done quite a bit of work on it. However, after months of work on it, I feel it's not going anywhere. Naturally my customer wants to see results, and they're not getting much. I've submitted the website to a couple of highly regarded directories, and I believe it's listed on some speciality directories (Asian clothing directories). I've also started them on the task of blogging, and I'm trying to get them involved with guest blogging. There's a DA of 1, OSE reports No Data Available for this URL. The Competitive Domain Analysis shows no links at all. I could understand if I started the campaign last week, but we got going in around January this year. One thing that's crossed my mind is that it's quite a slow-loading website. It's with GoDaddy on some cheap hosting plan (not my doing!!). I understand loading times can affect results - could this be the case? It's a bit disheartening really, because we've had really good success with a lot of local businesses' websites but with this one we just can't seem to get it anywhere! 😞 If anyone could shine a bit of light I'd really appreciate it. Why is my domain authority lower than my competitors ?
I am totally confused with the information that I am getting from the Site explorer. My domain authority is 26, while my competitor's is 29. I am confused because every one of the factors that SEOmoz uses to determine our domain authority has higher rankings for my website. My SEOmoz rank is higher, my external followed links is higher, and so forth. The only factor that my competitor has with a greater ranking or number is that they have more internal links. I used the link metrics portion and added their URL to see all of this information. Can anyone tell me how this is possible ? My domain is www.Prickettproperties.com and one of the ones that I am looking at comparing is www.liquidlifevacationrentals.com

Is there a way to get the domain authority of a subdomain?
For example, www.storage-mart.com and us.storage-mart.com both show the same DA in OSE. I believe it's the DA of the root domain. How can I compare the DA of the 'www' and 'us' subdomains?

Why would my domain authority keep changing when I refresh?
Hi All, I've noticed that my domain authority is changing every time I refresh SEO MOz. In some instances it increases and other time stays the same as a previous month. Is this just a mid-transitional stage? or is there a potential bug in the system? It's making it difficult to know what is really happening.

How can authority of the page be higher then authority of the domain?
In the opensite explorer most of the links that I see have a higher domain authority and lower page authority which makes sense to me because I thought that domain authority is an aggregate of its pages authority. But apperently I was wrong because sometimes I see that the page authority is greater then its domain? How could that be?
