Panda 2.2 Full Recovery In Action

I have had several new clients come to me after Panda and Panda 2. Lots of audits. The client who had the worst problems, and has since corrected the worst issues based on my audit just bounced back in an epic way, and while it could be a short-term thing, I don't believe that's the case - it's just too big of a jump back - full recovery.
I'm curious to find out if anyone sees a similar recovery on your sites.
FYI the biggest problems (most of which have been resolved now) include:
- Content organization - it was a mess of a site
- Extreme over-use of ads on the page and in the content
- Topical focus - there was so much going on across every page of the site that confused Google
- Major site speed issues

They were running several ad networks feeding ads everywhere - the system was choking on it. Then there's the fact that it's a Drupal site, set up with default native taxonomy, causing serious data extraction bottle-necks.
Both issues had to be addressed. It's still slow, but much better.

Great to hear. Could you expand on your experience with the site speed and how you improved it? Was it server side or due to site content? Location of server?

it's actually hit a higher level of traffic than pre-May-Day. Hard to tell on that chart but amazing if it holds.

Using 2 cache plugin good or not?

My brand name has 2 words but Google only indexing as 1 word. Is there a fix?
Hi all...I'm at a loss. I've never had this happen. Google only shows pages of my site when I search the brand name as one word. When I Google the site as one word BrandBrand- it only shows my blog page and about us page plus Twitter and Facebook on page 1. The homepage does not show up at all. When I Google the site as two words Brand Brand - My Facebook page is on page 1 but nothing else. The homepage isn't showing up at all. When I search both words on Bing and Yahoo both are indexing it as two words and shows on page 1. Any ideas?

$360 charged to embed 2 youtube video clips on web page with CMS system - Realistic?
Hi All, I have just had a bill from our webmaster / SEO provider for 3 hours work to embed two youtube video clips on to one page of our site (http://www.compoundsecurity.co.uk/raidervision-visual-verification-module-use-rdas-and-vx-gprs-wireless-security-systems) Now i am not an HTML programmer, but i have the ability to insert HTML code in to our eBay pages to embed videos where i want them on a page and it takes less than a minute. Would love to get feedback from several people on how long this should have taken. Is it really anywhere near 3 hours work. Everything else on the page was already there. If it means anything, the site is done in Apach Cheers

Google Still Taking 2 - 3 Days to Index New Posts
My website is fairly new, it was launched about 3.5 months ago. I've been publishing new content daily (except on weekends) since then. Is there any reason why new posts don't get indexed faster? All of my posts gets +1's and they're shared on G+, FB and Twitter. My website's at www.webhostinghero.com

How to Identify Which Penalty : Penguin, Panda or Other?
I'm in the process of putting together a plan to recover from Algorithmic penalty. I'm not sure if I have to focus my recovery effort based on Penguin, Panda or Other algorithm penalty. After looking at the attached screenshot : Google Analytics Data vs Google Algorithm update timeline, I'm not sure if the blog is affected due to Penguin or Panda. I have following questions Traffic drop is because of Pengin, Panda or Other penalty? (there is no manual penalty message) Where should I focus my time with recovery efforts? Duplicate Content on 2 Sites - Advice
We have one client who has an established eCommerce Site and has created another site which has the exact same content which is about to be launched. We want both sites to be indexed but not be penalised for duplicate content. The sites have different domains The sites have the same host We want the current site to be priority, so the new site would not be ranking higher in SERPs. Any advice on setting up canonical, author tags, alternate link tag etc Thanks Rich

Page rank 2 for home page, 3 for service pages
Hey guys, I have noticed with one of our new sites, the home page is showing page rank two, whereas 2 of the internal service pages are showing as 3. I have checked with both open site explorer and yahoo back links and there are by far more links to the home page. All quality and relevant directory submissions and blog comments. The site is only 4 months old, I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the fact 2 of the lesser linked pages are showing higher PR? Thanks 🙂

Reading Crawl Diagnostics and Taking Action on results
My site crawl diagnostics are showing a high number of duplicate page titles and content. When i look at the flagged pages, many errors are simply listed from multiple pages of product category search results. This looks pretty normal to me and I am at a loss for understanding how to fix this situation. Can I talk with someone? thanks, Gary
