Getting Duplicate meta title, and meta description errors
-
I have a website with shopify CMS. At the run time some pages generating itself with Tags name ( or we can say it search pages) which has been used in collections. so it's Meta tag and description is same as well as collection and in SEO tools it showing duplicate meta title, description errors.
1. http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/tanks/girls-skate-clothing
2. http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/accessories/girls-skate-clothing
3. http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/accessories/girls-skate-clothing
4. http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/tanks/girls-surf-clothingFor example above URLs are not on website, its generating by self with tags name like girls-skate-clothing, girls-surf-clothing etc. and these pages are accessing Meta titles, description from http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/tanks/
So will you please suggest me that should I worry about these duplicate meta title, description errors ???

Hello
I'm not familiar with shopify so I can't tell you how to fit it, but I can tell you that it does need to be fixed. Simply doing this would make the difference:
http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/accessories/girls-skate-clothing-accessories
http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/tanks/girls-surf-clothingyou might even consider restructuring the like this:
http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/girls-skate-clothing/accessories
http://brok3nclothing.com/collections/girls-surf-clothing**/tanks**This would be a much better than the current version and will prevent much fewer problems in the future.
Good luck!

How come canonicalized pages are showing in the Duplicate Titles report?
I am currently removing all duplicate titles from my site via title tag changes, 301's, and in some instances, canonical tags. I'm confused about why the Moz report spit out pages with duplicate titles that are canonicalized to other pages. Does Google actually consider these pages as having duplicate titles? Or is Roger Mozbot not intuitive enough to to disregard those pages?

Page Title & Meta Description Getting Cut Off In The SERPs
Hi Guys, I am trying to figure out why my page titles and meta d tags are getting cut off in Goofle SERPS. My page titles are 70 characters or under (including spaces) and my meta Dd's are 155 characters or under (including spaces) so I cannot work out why They are getting cut off. Is there something I have missed?! Thanks, Meaghan

Category descriptions and magento
Hi Any eCommerce experts out there, please? I run a magento store and am looking to improve the performance of my category pages in the listings, to aid this I have created category descriptions - a hundred or so words about what, for example, a Maxi Dress is, an example can be seen here http:// yochic.co.uk/dress-267864/ maxi.html (I have broken the link as not sure on the linking policy of the forum). I have noticed, however, that this category description is appearing all on sub pages of the section, so it is on page 1,2,3,4 etc. Is this likely to lead to me receiving a penalty for internal duplicate content? The store uses rel="next" in all the category pages, so shouldn't that help limit any problems caused by the duplication of the page descriptions? I notice that when I search for a sub page, 2, 3, 4 etc in Google using the url of page two http://yochic.co.uk/dress-267864/maxi.html?p=2 it returns the first page, so am i right in thinking with the tags that Google sees all the sub pages as being page one. In which case, doesn't that limit my ability to rank for the products listed on pages 2+? Long story short, the site cannot rank it's product pages because the vast majority of the product descriptions are 100% duplicate because the site is an affiliate fashion store. Many thanks Carl

Meta Keywords
Hello! Just wondering what opinions others have on Meta Keywords? Ive read in the past here on Seomoz that they are irrelevant now to search engines. I do see some of our Large competitors still using them. When I use the SEO page tool to check out pages for optimization it recommends that we remove them? This is something that I have been doing for a few months now but am second guessing myself now. Should I continue to leave them out of current page structure? Thank You!!!!

Duplicate eCommerce Product Descriptions
I know that creating original product descriptions is best practices. What I don't understand is how other sites are able to generate significant traffic while still using duplicate product descriptions on all product pages. How are they not being penalized by Google?
