Updating a Business name only in Moz Local.
-
My clients business changed their name. When I updated the CSV with the new business name in Moz Local it created a brand new business listing.
Is there a better way to update only the business name?

Hi Gyi,
Thanks for letting me know this. I'm really sorry for whatever may have caused this confusion. May I suggest that you please start a ticket at https://moz.com/help/contact so that you can share the complete details of your Moz Local account in private and have it investigated by our help team? That would be the best way to approach this, I believe.

The name on both the Facebook and Google+ page were updated prior to uploading my new business information.

Hi Gyi,
Thanks for your question. This is my understanding of our process of uploading changes to an existent listing:
When you want to change any of the NAP+W (name, address, phone, website) information for a listing, you will first need to update this information on either Google or Facebook. We use Google/Facebook to verify that listing information is correct.
When you are done updating your information on Google/Facebook, you can then go ahead and upload your updated CSV to us and we will recognize it as an update and not charge you as if it were a brand new listing.
It is important to note that you must modify your existing listing on Google/FB and not create a new one. Otherwise we will not be able to recognize it as an update.
Did you take these steps in this order, Gyi? Please, let me know!

Has anyone found a way to change the Google page linked to a Moz local account AFTER it was purchased?
Before realized that the Moz listing should have the correct GMB account connected to it, a few local listings were purchased. Is there a way to change the GMB page it is pulling data from and sending out to directories? Thanks!

Moz Local - Multiple Business Customers
Hi,
Moz Local | | rufo
I've looked at Moz Local as it now seems to include UK based submissions.
It looks great. However as I have a number of customers that would benefit from the service I wanted to know if MOZ lets you submit numerous businesses or is it just for the business that you have your account with. I really want to use the service for customers but I'm not sure whether its just a single company with the possibility of multiple addresses or if its multiple businesses. Thanks in advance,

Incorrect client zip code in Moz Local
I have a client that I am pushing citations through Moz Local for. The business zip code in Moz is listed as 80111 and should be 80110. I have verified that the zip is correct on both Google My Business and Facebook. I'm not finding any duplicate Google pages either. Any Idea why this wouldn't push back to Moz Local?

Updated validation changes
I want to submit a listing, but the validation screen indicated Google has an incorrect phone number (which was only listed as an alternate contact number). I've removed the number from the Google My Business page, but the correction is not listed in the Moz Local Validation page. What should I do to get the updated Google listing to be recognized by the Moz validation process? Thanks!

Moz Local Submissions
Hello, I am looking into transferring listings from Nuestar Localeze to Moz Local. Would it be best to set all of my Localeze listings to not renew or does Moz Local claim active listings from these sites for you?

How does Moz Local work with business that don't have a physical location? (e.g., handyman, locksmith, etc.)
I'm wondering how Moz Local will handle a business that doesn't want to publicly display an address. A handyman, landscaper, or locksmith might want to do something like this. Is it easily handled or do you have to manually try to "work around" to hide the address on sites that let you? Thanks!
