Campaign Setup Re-Direction
-
Hello!I am trying to setup my first campaign, we have a GEOIP re-direct in place for the .co.uk domain to go to the .com site however we have specified that bots do not get re-directed.When I enter the .co.uk domain name at setup stage I get the following message:
"We have detected that the domain mywebsiteco.uk redirects to www.mywebsite.com.
We do not recommend tracking a redirect URL. Would you like to track www.mywebsite.com for this campaign instead?"
I have setup the rogerBot user agent in Firefox to see if I get re-directed but I do not so I can't figure out why i'm getting this message. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Chirs

Hey Chris,
Thanks for the question! During the initial campaign setup it's just a url validation that we do. There's not actually a user-agent associated with it. We just look for something to resolve with a 200 response.
If you've got your exception setup for rogerbot then that should be fine to proceed despite the warning.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Joel..

I'm setting up a new campaign and getting the error "This does not appear to be a valid URL" What's wrong?
I've tried multiple times (over 2 days) with every variation of the URL with no luck. Any ideas for why the URL does not seem to be working?

New Campaigns - configure settings: search.
Can anyone give some guidance in which setting we should use for the .co.uk sites when setting up our campaigns? Google GB or Google UK etc. Many thanks

Pro just NOTworking, won't add campaigns...help!
I have been a member before, but cancelled due to Moz not doing daily ranking. Signed up again, as i like the reporting facility, and now have planned to use this along with Rankinity. I got the free trial, added in two new campaigns, which is not a quick process if you do it correctly, and neither are showing up in my campaigns tab. So I thought, maybe its because it's a free trial...so I upgraded to the 149/month, and got billed. Tried adding a campaign again, and nada. Also tried activating archived campaigns...again, nothing. Nothing is working, talking directly to Moz is pretty much impossible (no phone number, the 'talk to us' button never gets a response - tried that on Friday), so I am trying to get some kind of answers here. What I would like from Moz is: 1. Make the adding campaigns thing work asap (I need to make the client reports soon). 2. Make it so my old archived ones, when I click the activate button work. 3. If they are feeling nice for wasting hours of my time, maybe refunding my sub for the month and putting me back on the free trial or something. My head is about to explode....HELPPPPP! Love, Jeannie xo

Why can't I add more than one campaign in my trial version of MOZ?
Hi, I'm on the 30 day trial and I can only run one campaign right now. I thought I could add in 5 campaigns. When I go into Manage Campaigns the 'add a campaign' button is light blue and I can't click it. Is this just because I'm on the trial? Or should I be able to add 4 more campaigns?

Can I use wildcards "*" when setting up a new Moz campaign?
Basically I would like the Moz crawler to focus on a specific section of our domain. We do not bucket things via folder groups, so the use of wildcards would be applicable to us. Our URL structure: www.domain.com/some-stuff-here/p12345 Is the example below a valid input to track the above URL structure? www.domain.com//p Thanks.
