Domain Age
-
Hello I try to learn seo and find out this kind of problem. I have new domain it is registered 3 month ago and have different domain which register 3 years ago. One website is indexed and new website is not indexed. New domain have more backlinks and ahrefs authority. Doe domain age and domain expire time give any points to fast indexing and ranking ?

I would disagree to an extent. Whist it may be a factor if you go buy an old domain and build new content on it Google pretty much treats it as a new domain and along with that if all the links going to that domain are for example about cats and your domain is about dogs you're making your life harder.
Matt Cutts mentioned here that its not something you should worry about, now while he neither confirms it, nor denies it what it does indicate are there are other areas to focus on.
So in short if the domain is the same niche and the links already built are a benefit the the user (who may get to your site from those links) then it should be fine but at the same time is it worth the risk of moving a whole site? There are many good ways of indexing a site which is a lot easier than a redirect.
Work on the content of your site, get it shared (even socially) and you will find it ranks quicker (also try 'Fetch as Google') than just redirecting a domain to it (or visa versa)
Hope that helps.

In my experience, yes. Domain age is a factor, especially when it has backlinks pointing to it. Just make sure they are high quality, relevant websites and the domain isn't penalized in any way.
That being said, you can index a new site almost just as quickly if you know what to do (ping google, share on social media, bookmark).

Having trouble choosing a domain for my new project
Hello, I'm starting an informational website. The topics that will be covered will be conspiracy theory orgone spiritual awakening kundalini Ancient Knowledge. and related topics The problem is that a lot of people coming in on conspiracy theory topics might not like a domain like trulyawake.com, yet that's what I lean to. I want it to be clever. Eventually there will be products and ads. Looking for a way to tie everything together. Thank you.

Creating a Domain Specific Keyword Difficulty Score
Moz's Keyword Difficulty tool is great. Minus one thing... it does't take the domain itself into it's equation. Of course it doesn't take a lot of other things into consideration too like relevancy of domain but lets at least start with adding domain authority to the equation. I've come up with simple math that allows you to take the domain authority of the target URL into consideration. The Equation KD = Moz Keyword Difficulty

DA = Domain Authority
DS = Domain Specific Keyword Difficulty (KD/DA)*KD = DS Equation Applied URL: atari.com
Keyword: classic video games
KD: 69
DA: 77
DS: 62 (69/77)*69=62 You will end up with numbers larger than 100, but it makes sense. If your domain authority is 10 and you're trying to compete with a difficulty of 90 then you should be scared to compete for that term and the number should reflect that. Thoughts? Other ideas?2 -
Domain name selection + Branding
Hello All, Would like to understand the relation between selecting a domain name and the branding of ones organization. Recently a friend came upto me and asked as to how he could select his domain name so that factors like seo visibility and uniqueness fall into place correctly. Is there some website which could permutate / combine few keywords and suggest domain names. Also help in deciding whether selecting that domain name would be advantegous over other or not. Common names like cart , food, vacation etc if names formed keeping these in between as domain names could cause issues where in a lot of influential names could pop up on the searches and make your domain irrelavant. Any ideas how to overcome this problem

Domain Brokers and crazy prices!
Just emailed a domain broker about an EMD, looked like a nice short domain and thought a little site off this domain would work well. Domain was a .co.uk, gets around 1,600 ems a month but specific to a service so no room to open it up, even still as a little site that would just turn over I was interested. Say average price of service £50. They come back with: Please make an high $X,XXX offer. I reply: I could rank a non-emd (branded) domain using $XXX with guest blogging for the same term. There logic for the price quoted: If you take £25 profit from each sale, you only need to sell 400 to make your money back. This is coming from one of the largest domain brokers in the US. What a silly way of valuing a domain.

Page Authority & Domain Authority for dummies
Can someone explain me what is this? I just ran a keyword difficulty report for my keyword "refurbished printers", we are not in the top 10, and I see a table with 4 columns: page authority, Page Linking Root Domains, Domain Authority, Root Domain Linking Root Domains I have many questions here: 1. The bigger the number the better? 2. The most green the better? What about the red in the last 2 columns? 3, How can I improve an specific page to rank there and improve these numbers? 4. What does it mean the green check next to some numbers? Thanks

Advanced Domain Name Search Service
Hi guys, I'm looking for a clever domain name search service. I want to provide a list of keywords and the site will return with available .com domains relating to my search. An example - I work in the tourism niche and I want to find available travel related .com domains for about 50 locations. I provide a list of words such as "travel", "visit", "goto", "holidays", and I provide a second list with all the locations, example "London", "Paris,", "Berlin", etc... The domain search tool would then mix up my two lists of keywords and check to see if variants such as travellondon.com, londonholidays.com, gotoberlin.com, etc... are free to register. I then go off and buy those domains and have some epic wins. Does this tool exist?
