Fixing Duplicate Listings in Factual
-
Hey everyone,
One our business listings is cited as having a duplicate listing in Factual in Moz Local. When you click on the "Fix Duplicate" button in Moz Local, it gives you a mailto: link that emails the Data Contributions team at Factual. I tried sending this team an email and received an automated response that read:
"Thank you for your interest in Factual. We have partnered with a select group of Trusted Data Contributors (TDCs) to add, update, and manage business listings in Factual. We are no longer accepting contributions via email; instead, please work with one of our TDCs directly to update your data within Factual. The full list along with contact information can be found here: http://developer.factual.com/trusted-data-contributors/."
So I'm caught in kind of a loop here. Am I just supposed to wait for Moz Local to push the correct data to Factual while Moz Local thinks that I'm able to fix it manually? Any and all suggestions and help is appreciated.
Thanks,
-
Hey Zeon!
For Factual we will need to submit removals of duplicates manually from the backend. Because of this change we haven't been able to update the link to fix duplicates since it's not a quick change we can make but will be updated very soon. For now please email us the link to the duplicate and we can submit it for removal for you: help@moz.com

Yes, I think Moz needs to refresh those duplicate requests emails, meaning Factual switched the way they get their data. Factual used to allow people to email them and request fixes.
Other companies use data from partners and Moz probably hasn't updated those emails since they launched Moz local.
Factual uses Moz (as a data partner), so paying for Moz local should fix it (anywhere from a month to 6 mths).

How to Sync Hot Frog with Moz Listing score
Hi, I have a Client who owns two restaurant locations. And have been updating and verifying their listings while using Moz's Listing Scores to validate improvements. 1st Locations' Moz listing score can be found here: https://goo.gl/h17VZj 2nd Locations' score can be found here: https://goo.gl/ZnQMpi Both have Hot Frog Listings 1st Locations Hot Frog Account: https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/henderson/me-gusta-tacos_43095742 2nd Hot Frog Account https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/las-vegas/me-gusta-tacos One thing is that although I have created a Hot Frog account for the 1st location, the Hot Frog account does not propagate with Moz's Listing analysis. On the other hand, the Second Location's Moz Listing shows that there is indeed a Hot Frog Account Not sure why one shows up, while the other does not. ZaULBWm d8aPpbG

What do I do if the business listed in Moz Local Business Listing for Yellow Pages is wrong?
Hey there! I have a business listing set up in Moz Local. The system seems to have accurately found the business on most networks, but on Yellow Pages, it has a completely different business listed (my business is a Pilates studio and it has a soccer club listed). What are the steps I can take to fix this? I can claim my listing on Yellow Pages, but after I do that, how does Moz Local associate the two? Thanks, --eric

How to determine which keywords from a list trigger local 3 pack results, is there an automated way to do this?
Trying to discover which keywords from a larger list trigger the new 3 pack of local results. Would like to avoid checking this one keyword at a time.

On Moz Local, localeze says "this listing is already managed by someone else"
Hey Mozzers, For my Moz local listings, there is a yellow exclamation mark on localeze and it says "this listing is already managed by someone else". My company previously had a listing with localeze, but we closed it early this year. How can I remove localeze's control of our account? How can I make sure Localeze is feeding all the appropriate sites with the correct information? thanks, Evan Jerkunica

Creating Listings For Doctors and Dentist aside from the Business Name
What is the best way to create listings for Doctors/Dentist and keep them from showing as duplicates. Should they just have there name without the company name in the title but yet the address and same phone or no separate listing at all. I have noticed in Moz Local that these show as duplicates when listed in this format. Thanks Scott

Google+ & Yelp Listings not recognized by Moz Local
I've been attempting to get a client's local listings all cleaned up using Moz Local. When I first did a scan, the Yelp listing was there but with an incorrect address. I uploaded all the data via CVS file successfully about a month ago. I logged into the claimed Yelp profile as the owner and made my adjustments. Now, the Moz Local tool says there is no Yelp listing and it's also reporting that there is no G+ page. Can anyone explain? Thanks!

My listings have shown 'Update in Progress" for over a month now. Any timeframe for how long this process takes?
I would appreciate more information as to how this process works and why my listings seems to be in 'update in progress' limbo. Thank you
