How do you setup a test analytics account?
-
I have created a test view but that is not helping with skewed data. Do you all just create a total separate profile with a different GA account for a non-indexed domain? How can I test tag manager and other things without messing with our data? I have our IP filtered out so it doesn't show up in reports but other event tags from outsiders will.

Ok cool. We do have a dev environment. It's published sort of infrequently but I can use that. Thank you!

Usually live (production) websites have a counterpart, their development website. I.e. dev.domain.com
This subdomain can easily be setup as its own profile and allow for company IP addresses to accrue data. I usually apply my test scenarios to the development environment first, test the goals, and then move the changes into the production environment.

Drop in Bounce Rate in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I have recently seen a large drop in bounce rate (from GA) which seems unnatural for one of our clients website. Since the start of 2018, the bounce rate was consistently between 40-60%, and then saw a random spike, and now for the past two weeks, the bounce rate is below 10%. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas if this is a problem with GA, or the site itself. Site: https://www.zoomocarcredit.com/ Any comments/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Jack. Individual or Separate Google Analytics Accounts for Each Country Location?
We have 3 websites. USA, Germany and UK. Currently our analytics account is set up with 1 account with each domain as a Profile. I am wondering if I would see more accurate results if I have them set up individually, under the same Google account, but different Analytic accounts. The reason I wonder is because I noticed when I was going through setting this up, it asked for each Country Time Zone for each domain. I was not sure if this was for me to see the times, or if this was to provide more accurate data. Maybe this is just a personal preference topic?
