How To Increase Clicks In Google Shopping?
-
I have about 613 furniture products in Google shopping and am getting about 2 clicks a day. Any tips on getting more clicks?
Current budget is $10 a day at $0.01 per click bid.
Should I increase my bid per click or add more products or both?
Thanks!

Just seen the update to this question.
If you have a high value, high margin product, yes you might be able to afford a AU$20 cost per conversion, but if you are only making AU$15 on a sale, then this makes no sense at all.
Hope this keeps the little grey cells working.
Bruce.

Your culprit right now is definitely the minimum bid. You can see what kind of Impression Share you are getting in the Adwords interface. If it's not at least 40-50%, keep raising your bids.
Once enough data has accumulated you'll also see a Benchmark Max CPC which will help you further optimize your bids as you will know what other advertisers are bidding on similar brand/products.
I'd also make sure your PLA is subdivided in a way that makes sense and is easy to optimize.

Hi Kiwi man
Before you do any adjustments, download and cut and slice the adwords report data for this shopping campaign, analyse it and re-analyse it.
Check the campaign setup and see where your current money is going with your downloaded stats.
"Shopping" is hugely competive and you need to distil your target and also your products very very carefuly before spending more. Look out for high click throughs with no conversions or high bounce rates.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the response. With a $0.01 bid I'm at the very end of the list so I think that may be a reason. The images are good quality as well, but I do think it's a position issue.

I haven’t personally tried Google shopping but I personally think you should look in to other competitors and see if you can get the estimated data. Increasing your bid is also a good idea. Another reason why you might be getting less clicks is because of the quality of images…. Make sure you are using high quality images and to the point product titles.
I believe the best way to learn this game is to try and test stuff on continuous basis.
Hope this helps!

How to track in Google Analytics 2 different subdomains (one for website, the other for PPC landing pages)
Hello Mozers! I have a website with organic visits/goals on www.site.com and a few AdWords Campaign landing pages on lp.site.com whose goals are tracked with both adwords conversion monitoring AND analytics (not imported from analytics into Adword). The landing pages of the campaign have nothing to do with the web site (different cms, they don't link each other, totally isolated) and viceversa. Given that, what would it be the best practice to configure Google Analytics to track the website (www.site.com) AND a PPC campagin (lp.site.com)? I have been told to set up different views of the same property, but do I really need that? Please let me know what are you thinking. Thank you very much. DoMiSoL Rossini

I want to try some Google PPC ads on other sites but don't know what i'm doing.
We have seen a massive drop in traffic this year and i am contemplation using banner ads to try to increase sales and also to help with marketing. the problem is i know nothing about doing this. I have used it in the past but to limited success and i was just stabbing in the dark. I have a few questions. Am i better to target keywords related to the product or to the people who may buy my products? Is it better for direct sales or brand awareness? What kind of ROI can i expect if i get it working well? Is it better to pay for the big keywords or pic all the low hanging fruit? Does it work? Should i employ an expert, are they worth it? Any insights into the world of PPc would be a massive help.

How Can I Increase Conversions from English Speaking Countries in AdWords?
Hello, So here is the gist: Our company provides credit card processing services primarily to e-commerce businesses. I began managing Google AdWords in-house this past April. I started out by not excluding any countries, but received leads from merchants living in countries we could not serve due to risk of fraud. Then, I excluded countries our company could not work with to eliminate unwanted costs. I then took it one step further and targeted only countries our company can serve. My campaigns performed very well. This month, I have been averaging nearly 14 conversions per day. [I should also add that four campaigns are Search and Display, one is remarketing so it is Display only, and two are Search only. Prior to what you will read in the paragraph below, the majority of our conversions came from the Display network, but we had a significantly higher conversion rate with our Search conversions.] However, throughout all of this, we received very few conversion from English-speaking countries--primarily the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Yesterday afternoon, July 15, I targeted only those four countries. When I came into work this morning, I saw that we received very few impressions and only 7 clicks (as opposed to more than 500,000+ impressions in one day and 1,500-2,400 clicks in one day). I am no Google AdWords expert, but I do understand that searching these terms in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia may be more competitive, which will require a higher CPC. I set it so Google manages my CPC, so I would assume this would adjust while staying within my daily budget. I do not know what to do, but am in dire need of guidance. I do not know where to look online for help and Google AdWords Live Chat is not working. Thank you in advance,

Social Media black hat methods - can google see this?
My site was hit by a Penguin or Panda, for some bad linking in 2012. Ever since then I have been 100% completely white hat, being careful who I pick to my marketing. Once burnt.... Recently, with all the hype of social media being the thing to help you boast rankings, it got me wondering about how Google really can monitor this. I saw this the other day on Elance... I need 5000 Facebook fans. They must be real looking and be coming from US IPs, Preferable real looking US accounts. If people are just going to get false Facebook fans, tweets etc.... then it is no better than all the bad linking. Perhaps Google will come out with Puma penalty (well we have pandas and penguins)

Google Analytics Matched Search Query Not Working
On Google analytics for our clients when you check the Matched Search Query under Traffic Sources > Overview, it says "There is no data for this view.". I have Google searched it and i am not finding my answer to why this is not displaying my information. On my personal analytics account when i clicked on matched search query it displays exactly what the person searched when it trigered my adwords ad. I have no idea why this account doesn't display the same info when it appears to be setup in the same way. Example: If i am broad match targeting the keyword "outdoor sports", and someone searched "Canadian outdoor sports for kids" It would show exactly what they searched under Matched Search Query. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

How does this company have more characters than allowed on Google Ads?
I thought this was weird and was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this... I attached the image so you can see what I mean. How does this company get away with having more characters than what Google Adwords allows? And why is there a "block ads from" thing underneath this ad, but not the others? Sorry for the bad arrow, I'm on Windows XP lol Thanks you 🙂 G2d9gIr.jpg

Google Remarketing Tag
Is the code snippet for a Google Remarketing Tag specific to one domain, or will it collect the audience list for any webpage(s) of any domain? Best,
