I need help on web page load time, its very bad!

I have an F on "Cache Static Content" - anyone know how I can fix this?
Also, it is a e-commerce website hosted through core commmerce. I have some access to code but not all of it. Some of it is dynamic. However, if you tell me specific things I can forward it to their very awesome tech department. They are very willing to work with me and are now considering implementing a CDN after I schooled them.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Don't be afraid to get very technical - I may not understand it, but the engineers there will.

You might also want to try to Google speed plugin, http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/, it identify issues and will give fix suggestions that you can pass to your tech guys/gals.

My load time went down by 50%. Non eCommerce though. I would say yes. However I would definitely look into all the variables with eCommerce. Should be great though.

My site uses SSL, which means I have to pay $20 / month. I need to make sure it is going to be worth it before I do that. Is it?

Sure, there are two areas to address on your server config. One is the cache-control which is returned in the header. I set a longer period of cache for all images and scripts to save users downloading new copies time and again to their cache. ie: max-age=3600, must-revalidate - see more here: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec14.html
Then I would also set some rules around using 304 status on page furniture and other assets which do not change frequently.
Aside from this, as far as I am aware, you should ensure your stack is optimised. The recent Search Insight session from Google was interesting as in that presentation they talked a lot about the average load and latency times they see, useful to use as a benchmark in tuning your own speed.

A lot of items on your home page are getting served securely... which isn't necessary, and will prevent the browser from caching them properly. For example:
- https://www.stbands.com/javascript/jquery/jquery.min.js

- https://www.stbands.com/images/categories/783.jpg

Since it's not a secure page, I wouldn't be serving all of these securely. I'd use http:// instead of https://

Href lang issues - help needed!
Hi, I have an issue with Google indexing the US version of our website rather than the UK version on Google.co.uk. I have added hreflang tags to both sites (https://www.pacapod.com/ and https://us.pacapod.com/), have updated and submitted an XML sitemap for each website and checked that the country targeting in search console is set-up correctly but Google are still indexing the wrong website. Page Load Timings: How accurate is Google Analytics Data?
Hello Guys, what are your experiences? How accurate is google analytics data regarding page load times? I know that one of my sites has trouble with pageload times, especially in India and USA. We are based in middle Europe and regarding to the GA data we have here in middle europe of about 2 seconds page load time. Moreover we have of about 4 seconds in USA and 10 seconds in India. Therefore I decided to test for a few sides a CDN (on these pages all static files are served over the CDN). However, first GA data indicates, that the page load times are even getting worse!!! But when I test it for example with pingdom (http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/) and compare it with an old landing page without CDN implementation, the tool says it's faster. The CDN provider (maxcdn) send me also some reports, which indicate, that the page load time should be faster...That's the reason why I ask about your experience with the GA page load time data, because personally I get the impression you cannot trust the data... Is it good to redirect million of pages on a single page?
My site has 10 lakh approx. genuine urls. But due to some unidentified bugs site has created irrelevant urls 10 million approx. Since we don’t know the origin of these non-relevant links, we want to redirect or remove all these urls. Please suggest is it good to redirect such a high number urls to home page or to throw 404 for these pages. Or any other suggestions to solve this issue.

Should I deindex my pages?
I recently changed the URLs on a website to make them tidier and easier to follow. I put 301s in place to direct all the previous page names to the new ones. However, I didn't read moz's guide which says I should leave the old sitemap online for a few weeks afterwards. As I result, webmaster tools is showing duplicate page titles (which means duplicate pages) for the old versions of the pages I have renamed. Since the old versions are no longer on the sitemap, google can no longer access them to find the 301s I have put in place. Is this a problem that will fix itself over time or is there a way to quicken up the process? I could use webmaster tools to remove these old urls, but I'm not sure if this is recommended. Alternatively, I could try and recreate the old sitemap, but this would take a lot of time.

Need Help writing 301 redirects in .htaccess file
SEOmoz tool shows me 2 errors for duplicate content pages (www.abc.com and www.abc.com/index.html). Is there any issue with using the same structured data property multiple times on the same page?
Im working on implementing structured data properties into my product detail pages. (http://schema.org/Book) My site sells books and many books have both a 13 digit ISBN # and a 10 Digit ISBN. Should I apply the itemprop "isbn" to both of them or just the one with higher search volume? Some books also have multiple authors, how should I handle that?
