Hi everybody. I'm currently doing a backlink audit for a client and I've hit a small problem. I'm combining data from Ahrefs, OSE, Webmaster Tools and Link Detox. I've got around 27k links in total now, but the issue is that WMT does not provide data on target page, anchor text and nofollow/dofollow. This means I have around 1k links with only partial information. Does anyone know of a way that I can get this data automatically?

Yep, I can output outbound links! Will take some fiddling but that should do it.

Hi, I think that Sreaming Frog will help you with that. It gives you all the information about, anchor txt, do follow etc.. on the target page.

Links not pointing to my website?

Aloha everyone! I've asked questions to the Moz community before and have always been happy to see how responsive and helpful the community is as a SEO learning new comer! Many thanks in advance for any ideas or insights to solving this problem. So here is my question, I own a wedding photography business here on Kauai and am looking to rank for a few things, Kauai wedding photographer, Kauai Wedding videographer, and Kauai family photographer. That aside I've been pouring more time into getting back links from people I've shot with here on Kauai (local business's websites etc) and have had links dropped in on their sites to, in theory, bump my rankings up from back linking my website. Here's my website http://www.balihaiphoto.com/ Here's a few sites but are not showing up as backlinks/pushing my site higher on SEO results (screen shot as well) http://www.haleleakeiki.org/ (bottom of page footer linking to BaliHaiPhoto.com) and another site here http://www.wishingwellshaveice.com/ with the same thing, footer link pointing to my website. Both sites have been indexed and the shave ice one gets a good amount of traffic, does anyone know why this isn't showing as a back link or if its passing on any link juice my way? Referral Exclusion List - Data Questsion

This may seem like a silly question. Since we are having an issue with self-referrals, we checked all the pages and everything is tagged properly, I used the referral exclusion list to exclude our domains. Question is, since we had a large number of our revenue coming in from the self-referring traffic, what happens to that revenue data once I add our domains to the referral exclusion list?

Google Webmaster Tools - When will the links go away!?

About 9 months back we thought having an extremely reputable company build our client some local citations would be a good idea. You definitely know this citation company, but I'll leave names out. Regardless, it's our mistake to cut corners. Google Webmaster Tools quickly picked up these new citations and added them to the links section. One of these citation spawned a complete mess of about 60K+ links on their network of sites through ridiculous subdomains of every state in the country and so many other domain variations. We immediately went into remove mode and had the site's webmaster take down the bad links from their site. This process took about a month for outreach. The bad links (60K+) have not been on the spam site for well over 6 months but GWT still shows them in the "links to your site" section. Majestic, Bing, and OSE only displayed the bad links for a brief time. Why is webmaster tools still showing these links after 6+ months? We typically see GWT update about every 2 weeks, a month tops. Any ideas? Could a changed robots.txt on the bad site prevent Google from updating the links displayed in GWT? We have submitted to disavow, but Google replied with "no manual penalty". We even blasted the bad site with Fiverr links, in hopes that Google would re-crawl them. No luck with anything we do. We have patiently waited for way too long. The rankings for this site got crushed on Google after these citations. How do we fix this? Should we worry about this? Any advice would really help. Thanks so much in advance.

Do PPC clicks get attributed to "Organic" in Analytics?

Hey guys, This month I started running a PPC campaign for a client and have noticed that none of the click data is showing up in Analytics under "Paid". However, under the "Organic" section, I've noticed that we're gaining a lot more clicks through to the site for some of our targeted keywords than we have been in previous months. Is this just a coincidence or is the PPC click data being used under the Organic section of Analytics?

Problem with Enhanced Link Attribution

I set up Enhanced Link Attribution yestarday on two my websites, but it still doesn´t work. When I look at numbers of clicks at In-page analytics I see the same numbers of clicks for example on heading, read more button, thumbail of blogposts - so it doesn´t work. Can I view lost links?

Hello! One of the blogs I'm tracking has literally lost like half of the number of external followed links. So, I have two questions really 1) is that common at all? it seems odd that that many would be removed 2) is there a way to see the specific links that were lost? Thanks!

Timing of Anchor Text Diversity

I am a huge fan of WBF and I saw the one about anchor text diversity, and although it helped answer a lot of questions it definitely raised a few more. So how does anchor text diversity relate to the timing of it all? If for instance there is a site that already has thousands of links for related terms to the keyword "oranges", would it be ok to now JUST build links with the exact anchor text "oranges"? or would the site still have to build links to both related terms and the exact match? So to clarify, i guess my question is, when Google looks at anchor text diversity and % of partial keyword match, is it looking at all the links to the page as a whole or is it looking at the links as they come? And what is the % of exact anchor text that is healthy? I am thinking that 10% exact match and the rest should be partial match. Am i off? Is there a better ratio? Thanks in advance -Vaibhav Methuku
