How to use remarketing using GTM?

Hello Everybody,
Can you please tell me how to use remarketing using GTM? I have read lots of post but confused with Google Analytic, adwords, merchant, tag manager, codes...etc.
So can any one explain me properly?

The Google Remarketing code is for all traffic that comes to your site. You will segment this inside Google Analytics before passing it on to AdWords by making lists in GA. This can be done under the Admin tab, and navigate to Audiences. This is where you will segment your lists.
You can then select to have a list shared with your linked AdWords account. It will populate in your available audiences in AdWords and you can use it to retarget
It's definitely gotten a little more complicated than it used to be, but I assure you this gives you more options and flexibility in reporting

Yes, you will add the remarketing code to GTM. Then you select what pages you want it to go on, and that will enable your ads to run.

Remarketing is only for adwords? we can track adwords campaign right and not for organic. For organic we have enhance ecommerce or event tracking is it?
Little bit confused, your input is more valuable to me.

Like i got remarketing code from google adwords so if i am using GTM then that code i have to add on GTM and not on each page of my website right?

This is a Google Help page that should set you up. It is a lot like setting up a Display Ad, just very targeted. Hope that helps!

If website users don't accept GDPR cookie consent, does that prevent GA-GTM from tracking pageviews and any traffic from that user that would cause significant traffic decreases?
I've been doing a lot research on GDPR impact and implementation with GTM-GA for clients, but it's been 12 months since GDPR has gone live I haven't found anything on how GA traffic has been impacted if users don't accept cookie consent. However, I'm personally seeing GA accounts taking huge losses in traffic since implementing GDPR cookie solutions (because GTM/GA tags aren't firing until cookies are accepted). Is it common for websites to see significant decreases in traffic due to too many users not accepting cookie consent? Are there alternative solutions to avoid traffic loss like that and still maintain GDPR compliance? It seems to me that the industry underestimated how many people won't accept cookie consent. Most of the documentation and articles around GDPR's start (May 2018) didn't foresee or cover that aspect properly, everything seems to be technically focused with the assumption that if implemented properly most people would accept cookie consent, but I'm personally not seeing that trend and it's destroying GA data (lost traffic, minimal source attribution, inaccurate behavior data, etc). Excluding Cookieless Static Content Sub-domain from GA/GTM
For the purposes of this question our ecommerce site url is www.ecommerce.com Our TLD is ecommerce.com We have, following advice from Yslow, Pagespeed and others, moved our static content to a subdomain - static.ecommerce.com We have Google Analytics and Enhance Ecommerce installed, fired from GTM. The cookieDomain setting in GTM is 'auto' At present cookies are being attached to our static resources. What changes do I need to make to to prevent this happening? Many thanks Julian

Does the new Google Analytics Search Console Beta tool use API to pull more data?
So my client has been asking for definitive proof of why the search query data provided on Google Search Console does not exactly match up the data presented directly in the Search Console itself. The simple answer is that the Google Search Console is limited to 1000 rows of data. However our client is requesting a Google article/documentation of why the new Search Console beta tool has no row limit (hence much more data for a big website). I know that the Google Search Console API was available before Google announced the new Search Console Beta tool in Google Analytics. I also know this API could pull in more data than the 1000 row limit. However is there any article available (preferably from Google) that Google Analytics is pulling this Search Console data via API? Thanks!

Referral exclusion not working with GTM?

I have my website with Google Tag Manager implemented. Google Analytics is one of the tags I have configured. The problem is that Referral exclusions aren't working for me. I excluded 3 domains, and I keep seeing them in my Referral Traffic report.

Anyone notice a drop in results using site operator?
I set our site's preferred domain back on January 28. We had a www and non www domain being indexed. Since then, I've seen the number or results for our site site operator (site:) decline dramatically. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. So, I'm trying to see if it's unique to our site. My gut is that the numbers are probably leveling out to where they should be and the duplicates are falling out, but I would think that as I see number of results for non www decline, the number of results for www would increase. Any thoughts? Anyone else seeing fluctuations in results using site: ? Lisa

Hello! I am trying to track different types of interaction on the YouTube for videos which are embedded on a website to measure the interaction on these video from my organic traffic. Does Google Analytics use your data against you?
I couldn't find this question answered anywhere in Q&A, so I apologize if it's a duplicate of another post. I heard, about a year ago on either Web Pro World, or Warrior Forum that Google uses your visitor data in your Google Analytic account to rank your site. Someone said that when they took out the Google code, their site went from the third to the first page within 48 hours. That was then verified over the next couple of weeks by others. Their thought was that regardless of the optimized page and incoming link, if the site wasn't getting visitors, then it would be penalized. Since Google has the data, they would be able to use it. I then started using another, paid, solution - getclicky.com. While I like clicky, there is some info Google has that clicky doesn't, everyone integrates with Google analytics - like SEOmoz, and I'm paying a monthly fee. Now that I'm a part of a community of experts, what do you think? Have you noticed Google ranking you based on your analytics data? Has anyone experienced this, or heard about it before? Because I'd like to go back to using Google analytics. Thanks!
