Hello there,

I have found that when crawling my site I have errors regarding the meta description and it says it is missing from few pages.

I checked these pages but there is a meta description. I also ran the same report with other tools and it comes up the same issues.

What should I do?

Hi there! Did you see the most recent comment? An example URL would be very helpful! Also, what tool(s) are you using to crawl your site?

Issue with duplicate content

Hello guys, i have a question about duplicate content. Recently I noticed that MOZ's system reports a lot of duplicate content on one of my sites. I'm a little confused what i should do with that because this content is created automatically. All the duplicate content comes from subdomain of my site where we actually share cool images with people. This subdomain is actually pointing to our Tumblr blog where people re-blog our posts and images a lot. I'm really confused how all this duplicate content is created and what i should do to prevent it. Please tell me whether i need to "noindex", "nofollow" that subdomain or you can suggest something better to resolve that issue. Thank you!

How to solve Parameter Issue causing Duplicate Content

Hi everyone, My site home page comes up in SERP with following url www.sitename/?referer=indiagrid My question is:- Should I disallow using robots.txt.? or 301 redirect to the home page Other issue is i have few dynamic generated URL's for a form http://www.www.sitename/career-form.php?position=SEO Executive I am using parameter "position" in URL Parameter in GWT. But still my pages are indexed that is leading to duplicate page content. Please help me out.

Odd URL errors upon crawl

Hi, I see this in Google Webmasters, and am now also seeing it here...when a crawl is performed on my site, I get many 500 server error codes for URLs that I don't believe exist. It's as if it sees a normal URL but adds this to it: %3Cdiv%20id= It's like this for hundreds of URLs. Good URL that actually exists http://www.ffr-dsi.com/food-retailing/supplies/ URL that causes error and I have no idea why http://www.ffr-dsi.com/food-retailing/supplies/%3Cdiv%20id= Thanks!

Canonicalization Issue | E-commerce

Hey everyone! How are you doing? I spent this week trying to solve some technical issues on my website. However i am having trouble with Duplicate Content. I came to the conclusion that canonicalization is a great solution to this problem, however, i am having trouble implementing it. The duplicate problem arises from the fact that for each product i have several colors or different attributes. For example. I have the category "Construction Clips" and then links to "Color" in which the user can choose White or Sandstone. The content is almost identical for both of them, the only thing that changes is the color. This scenarios repeats many times throughout my webcommerce site. And is throwing me off many Duplicate Content errors. I cannot use the canonicalization in the White or Sandstone page, because is a product page, it doesnt let me add or change anything on the header. http://aceromart.com/Clip-Glamet-Blanco.aspx I dont intend to rank well on most product pages, my priority is that i dont want duplicate errors on my website. Does this page crawl well?

I just put up a page that uses an image map to illustrate a national currency note. http://www.antiquebanknotes.com/NationalCurrency/National-Bank-Note-Information.aspx My goal with this page is get results for National Bank Note. But I know image maps are wierd creatures and not good for linking. My question is, will Google index my tooltips and find this page useful and therefore worthy? I think the content is useful for my users but I just don't know if the implementation will work well. This screen will eventually have 5 or 6 notes on it and I don't want to do it the concensus is negative... Thanks for any advice.

Any issues with lots of pages issuing 301 redirects?
