Inner pages with no PA
-
We recently redesigned our website and we are finding a lot of issues. In particular, our inner pages are not recieving any links.. This did not happen before..
How can I solve this issue?
Example:

You're welcome. Ok, I think the reason you're not seeing link data yet is because your site's redesign was done between the last two updates of OSE data. (http://moz.com/products/api/updates between December 4th and January 28th) If that's the case, you should see link data soon as the next update is scheduled to go live mañana.
You might also be able to get some update link data and testing via Google Webmaster Tools. Thankfully other things with the redesign sound like they're functioning smoothly. Best of luck!

Hi Ryan, I´m using Open Site Explorer to measure PA and lnks.
Yes the redesigned included 301´s and I have checked the one specifically to this page.
Inner pages are receiving visits and session within Analytics.
Thanks for your help

Hello Cecilia. A few more details might help you to get this problem solved quickly... What tool are you using to measure PA and links? Also, did the redesign include redirecting old URLs to new URLs? Are your inner pages also not receiving visits and session within Analytics?

HTTPS for form pages?
I am creating a small business website for a friend in Recruitment. It’s very small and mainly just a shop window for the business. There’s no login area for the website, but there are two areas were users can enter information: General contact us form (giving email and phone number) Applying for a job (attaching a resume) The forms are using Ninja Forms – which I believe are secure in passing information. But am I missing anything? Do I need to make these pages https at all? I’m quite new to building sites from scratch. Thanks for your help

Indexing pages content that is not needed
Hi All, I have a site that has articles and a side block that shows interesting articles in a column block. While we google for a keyword i can see the page but the meta description is picked from the side block "interesting articles" and not the actual article in the page. How can i deny indexing that block alone Thanks

Duplicate Page Errors
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone can help... Here is my issue... Our website:
Technical SEO | | TCPReliable
http://www.cryopak.com
It's built on Concrete 5 CMS I'm noticing a ton of duplicate page errors (9530 to be exact). I'm looking at the issues and it looks like it is being caused by the CMS. For instance the home page seems to be duplicating.. http://www.cryopak.com/en/
http://www.cryopak.com/en/?DepartmentId=67
http://www.cryopak.com/en/?DepartmentId=25
http://www.cryopak.com/en/?DepartmentId=4
http://www.cryopak.com/en/?DepartmentId=66 Do you think this is an issue? Is their anyway to fix this issue? It seems to be happening on every page. Thanks Jim0 -

Dealing with closely related pages
I have a book with 8 pages which I offer free on my site: http://www.pottytrainingchart4kids.com/free-potty-training-book/ For technical reasons each of the 8 pages are on a seperate page. This might cause thin content/duplicate content since most of the code is the same besides the images and there isn't much on each page. How would you suggest I deal with this? I remember once reading about rel prev or something like that but I am not sure if it is applicable. I would like all page rank to go to the main page. Should I add no index to the other pages? I am not really sure what I should do to prevent a Panda penalty. Thanks in advance!

Why do they rank the home page?
We are trying to rank for the key word Motorcycle Parts. We have moved up to page 2 over the past couple months; however, google is ranking our home page not our http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/s/49/61/Motorcycle-Parts page that is for motorcycle parts. We are working on internal linking to help point the right signals too. Any other thoughts? ( we have new content written to put in as well we just have to wait for an issue to be fixed before we can put it in)

Removing pages from website
Hello all, I am fairly new to the SEOmoz community. But i am working for a company which organizes exhibitons, events and training in Holland. A lot of these events are only given ones ore twice and then we do not organise them any more because they are no longer relevant. Every event has its own few webpages which provide information about the event and are being indexed by Google. In the past we did not remove any of these events. I was looking in the CMS and saw a lot of events of 2008 and older which are being indexed. To clean the website and the CMS i am thinking of removing these pages of old events. The risk is that these pages have some links to them and are getting some traffic, so if i remove them there is a risk of losing traffic and rankings. What would be the wise thing to do? Make a folder with archive or something? Regards, Ruud

Search Result Page, Index or Not?
I believe Google doesn't want to index and show other search result pages in there SERP.

So instead of adding "noindex, follow" tag i have changed the url in my search result page like this: Original
http://www.mysite.com/kb-search.aspx?=travelguide&type=wiki&s=3 To
http://www.mysite.com/travelguide/attraction-guide.html And the search result page contains the title of the articles, a short descriptions (300 chars.) and a link to the articles. Does it help? Or should i add noindex, follow tag? Helps Please?0
