Iv verified my Google+ page and linked it to my website but still do no receive the box on the right hand side for brand search terms. is there anything else i can do to get this?

After checking the site i realised the rel= publisher tag was not there, i think this may have been the issue

Is there a Facebook Ad equivalent to Google MCC?

Hi Mozzers, Really unsure if we are missing something here, but whilst trying to set-up paid ads for some of our clients on FB we have run into a significant issue. We need to be able to allow FB to debit multiple business accounts for varying ads on different pages. However every time we try to access the ads manager to set-up a new ad, FB takes us to the individuals (the person logged in to the page) account, rather than creating an ad account for that page/business individually. What are we missing? We use Google MCC for managing our PPC campaigns and so wondered if there is anything similar we can use for FB? Or any other recommendations on how to get round this without dragging each client into the office and asking them to log-in so that we can set these up? Thanks!

Getting an error message when linking google plus profile.

When trying to link a Google plus profile an error message flashes and the "track this profile" keeps loading and doesn't progress. Does anyone have any idea of how to overcome this?

Google Places and Google Local

I am pretty confused about how the difference between Google Local, Places and Business Pages. I created a Google+ Page and have about 800 followers. https://plus.google.com/100975632641377061238 To control our listing on Google Maps and what shows up on the right side of a Google Search, which includes a map and business hours I had to create a Google Local page. Now this page only shows we have 4 followers. https://plus.google.com/110649807298590030594 Is there any way to combine the two?

Google+ for Business

Google+ has thrown a bit of a monkey wrench into my SEO plans. Over the last few weeks, Google+ listings started showing up in the SERPs for my money keywords. The good news is that once we launch our new site, we have a good chance of getting into the Google+ 7 packs. The bad news is that SEO on a national level just got tougher with the local Google+ listings crowding natural listings down the page. Questions: 1. How does Google+ determine who goes into the 7 pack?
2. Is there always a 7 Pack? Can there only be a 4 pack?
3. I see Google+ listings for companies that don't have a Google+ page. How is that possible?
4. Through my keyword research, I have about 20 keywords that are triggering Google+ listings in the SERPs. Some SERPs are only showing 2-4 G+ listings. Is it safe to assume that this is because no one has put those keywords in their Google+ description, and hasn't optimized for those words on their site?

Can I use a customized Google+ icon?

I just want to ask if it is possible to use a customized Google+ icon. I am confused after I have read this "For buttons that may be rendered by the Publisher, such as the Sharing Link, the Publisher must use only the official Google-provided icon or a plain text and link combination. source: http://www.google.com/intl/en/webmasters/+1/button/policy.html Thanks in advance! 🙂

Anyone use the new "Social Settings" in Google Analytics?

In the past couple of months, Google rolled out a tab called "Social Settings" in the Admin area (see image). It's an optional setting, and Google is rather vague about what it does. GA already tracks social in "Traffic Sources," so what is the advantage of using Social Settings? If you've used these new settings, what have your experiences been? Were the settings helpful? Google+ Ranking Factors - Are Keywords meaningless ?

Hello Mozers! On the Conversation Marketing blog, Ian Lurie published a lengthy article called Google Plus Box Ranking Factors Report. In it, he claimed amongst other things, that "Keyword relevance of your posts: Totally meaningless. Write whatever you want. Seriously. Just make it good." What say you?
