Remove new Knowlage graph overlay

Hi Moz,
Recently Google started showed new snippets in searches as seen in the attached below (1) but the problem I'm finding is I'm sure its showing me different results to "normal" searches especially when compared to a logged out or alternative account (2). Now I've got a solution to this but wanted to know if anyone else had solutions to removing this or at least gaining a more normal result with it on.
Seems to almost personalize the search results which isn't ideal so if anyone knows how to get this to stop I would love to hear it You can also see some more info here - https://www.seroundtable.com/google-pop-up-information-box-18007.html

I've seen it disappear when using a Google from a different country, google.com.mx or google.ca for example... Neither of these make the searches more generic however.

I've got most of my stuff to be depersonalized which was fine but recently this new overlay is messing with me and I can still get access to new none personalized results but I just wanted to know if anyone had luck removing the overlay and an quick fix!

Google personalises search results to you using many metrics and signals, such as your search history, logged in email address' affiliation with a site and location.
If you want fresh search results that ignores these factors, for purposes such as checking your rankings in another city, you can use the Ad Preview & Diagnostics tool in adwords: http://adwords.google.com/d/AdPreview/?__u=1000000000&__c=1000000000

Google Trends Graph and KW Planner Monthly Searches?
I'm trying to show people the trends of certain keywords/topics over a period of years Keyword Planner gives some actual numbers but only for 12 months. Trends will show "Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart. If at most 10% of searches for the given region and time frame were for "pizza," we'd consider this 100. This doesn't convey absolute search volume." Which I don't really understand, other than if the graph goes up it means more interest but has to do with the amount of people searching, location, etc which can get tricky? I'd like to put together a short report explaining certain topics and how interest in them has increased over the last 5+ years. I'm hoping someone else here has had some experience with this and has some advice or links with more information?

Will Google discount new gTLDs?
I have the opportunity now to acquire a very desirable generic domain name with either the .org or .pro TLD. Obviously, the .pro version I can get for a far better price. The .org will probably end up being about 10x the price of the .pro. I feel like the .org would give me instant clout while the .pro might raise eyebrows. Also, I'm concerned that Google might also discount these new gTLDs. What do you guys think? Is the perceived authority of the old-time TLDs something worth investing in? Or will this fizzle away over time as the new gTLDs flood the market? THanks! Ira

Does anyone know what it takes to get your Google Plus statuses to show up under the Knowledge Graph?
I've been looking into G+ and how to get the information and status updates in to the Knowledge Graph for small companies and have not been able to. Does anyone know exactly how to do it?

Is this a new type of rich snippet?
I recently came across a type of rich snippet in a Google search result that I can't find information about. New Search Engine.... Vanoogle.com
I'd like to see google start a new search engine. They might call it Vanoogle.com (Vanilla Google). This search engine would not be stinked up with social data, freshness inclusions, crap from my last query, skewed based upon my IP, warped because of my browser, targeted because of my cookies, no personalization, no image results, product results, none of that stuff. Ads are OK if labeled. I just want a plain vanilla search. Something that I know is "clean". Just like the good olde days. Millions of people will start using it right away. 🙂 Would you use Vanoogle.com?

New Brand Tlds
Hi, So ICANN is going to be coming out with new custom brand TLD. Essentialy if I have got it right you can register something like .ibm .amazon instead of .com or .org My problem is I can't seem to find a creative way to leverage this. I can understand ibm having one for its brand but me ? What do you think? how can we can make use of this for seo and linkbuilding ? Cheers, Vishal
