Is there any harm to display NAP more than once on a location page ?

Hi All,
I currently have location specific pages and my branch information(NAP) is currently displayed at the bottom in the page content. I was thinking off displaying the NAP again higher up the page so it's very visible for the user possibly under a h tag heading as well.
Do you think it would be spammy or harm my seo efforts it my NAP was displayed twice on a page ?. Once in the content which currently it's not visible unless the user clicks on the read more link in the content on the bottom of the page , and again further up the page where I have some white space which I can utilize
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Hey Peter,
It's generally considered a best practice to have your NAP at the top of your location landing pages, and I don't see any problem with you doing this and referencing the NAP again at the bottom of the page. Just be sure you're making each landing page unique and of as high quality as you can accomplish.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, I know what you mean. These are location landing pages for local search so I need to put the City in there . Curently it's in Title tag, H1, H2 tag although I do try and vary the phrases up a bit . The on page content at the bottom of the screen is unique for each city basically usually explaining usual tips, our product range etc and the branch NAP is currently contained within this.
We use to rank top 3 for pretty much every city in the UK before algorithm changes over the last 15 months or so having caused our local rankings to drop a bit although we are still on first page for most of them. To get up to the top in local search is proving a lot harder.
It's difficult to really know what other /alternative content I can put here for each city or whether reducing the city name would have a positive or negative effect.
It;s also hard to find examples of other sites who have a similar structure where its really worked for them.

Hi Peter,
I personally don't think there is anything wrong with having your NAP in your footer and in your content of your page as long as it isn't spammy and written to help your readers make an informed decision. You mentioned that you just want clients to see the address higher up on the page. So as long as the content makes sense I think you will be fine.
I took a look at the link posted above and in my opinion the page is written more for SEO as opposed for the reader. I see the keyword Bristol all through the content and it doesn't seem to quite flow. Keep in mind that I live in the US so it may seem a bit off to me due how we write, but if that's not the case, I would revisit the content and htags to make them appealing to your readers while still meeting on page optimization guidelines. Hi Monica,
I have the company registered address (i.e head office) at the very bottom of the footer which is on every page.
However, On my location specific landing pages, I have the branch infomation - NAP in the content if you click on the Read more link which is in the content at the bottom -

I was thinking of also displaying the NAP quite high the page in the white space on the left below the sub category links

Are you saying you have your NAP in your footer at the bottom of the page or hidden in content below the fold?
In my opinion, you should have your NAP on a contact us page above the fold where a client or potential client can easily access it. Having the information also in the footer of this page isn't harmful. If you want people to contact you then the information should be easily accessible.

Call Rail and NAP
Hello- My company has multiple physical locations, but one central toll free admissions line. We have CallRail to track where calls are coming from, however, I am nervous about the dynamic tracking numbers and how I approach NAP. Even if I set up a different toll free number for each of our 9 locations (which would ultimately route to one toll free number), how would I track where the calls were coming from (GMB, website, facebook, etc) without adding more dynamic tracking numbers? We've had calls with CallRail reps, but no one can give us an explanation. My question is how exactly do I approach CallRail with multiple locations and one main toll-free number to make sure we don't mess up NAP? Are there any CallRail experts out there that can tell me exactly what to do in our specific situation? Thank you so much in advance!

Relocating a Business location on Google My Business
Hello, One of our clinics is moving a couple of miles away from it's current location. Does anyone know the proper steps to take to make the change in Google My Business. I know I can go in and edit all the details, but what becomes of the former listing? If someone were to search by our name and the former street address, is Google going to be smart enough to deliver our new location as the search result? Also, I know there's a Mark Permanently Closed feature, but that's not exactly true. That location didn't "close," it relocated so I'm assuming I should stay away from that feature. Thanks in advance for any insight. Erik

Google My Business - bulk location upload vs. single upload
Hi there, I have a question regarding Google My Business listings: We currently have a business with few offices (less than 10). Each office has it's Google listing under the same Google account.

We plan on opening new offices at a certain pace, let's say two a month, which means we'll have more than 10 listings in the near future.
As far as I recall, Google allows up to 10 listings per account, which means it won't suffice. On the other hand, We do not have 10 offices at the time being, which means we're not eligible for a bulk upload. Any ideas how to handle this situation?0 -
Google Plus Business Page is not showing up
Hello, I had 2 google+ business pages. But the website under those pages were different. For example, www.abc.com on 1st one and then www.xyz.com on 2nd one. Both of them had the different business name and website but same address and phone number. Also, www.abc.com domain was set as redirecting to www.xyz.com. My 1st business page was ranking good but I wanted to use 2nd one only so I called up google and asked them to remove the 1st one and then they closed it. Now, the problem is that I lost the 1st one and 2nd one is not ranking for any of the keyword (I have checked all the pages in the SERP and it doesn't show up anywhere until last page). I have fixed all the citations everywhere recently but no luck in getting ranking. Can anyone suggest what steps can be done to rank 2nd one now? FYI, I am talking about local places ranking, the domain www.xyz.com is ranked well in organic ranking. Any help is appreciated! Brian

Google Plus Pages for Doctors, SUPER confusing..help!
Hi Moz community, I carefully reviewed all info I could find and still cannot figure how to make this work. I am working for a medical practice that has 4 different office locations in my county. There are also 5-6 doctors and all of the doctors MOVE throughout the week from location to location. I know (from reading Google's exact guidelines) that they suggest creating a page for the doctor using only their name in addition to creating a page for each location. How do I set those doctor pages up? What location do I use? What contact info is okay to use etc? Super lost. Thanks all! Ricky

Question about tools for closing a location and erasing it from existence.

Google requires that businesses that serve there customers at their customers' locations must hide its address. However, this causes an notice in Moz Local advising that the Google listing is inconsistent. Is that something to just ignore?
I run a walking tour company that operates from a virtual office. We run tours are set locations outside the office. Because of this, Google requires that we hide our exact location. However, Moz Local is warning us that "incomplete listings can negatively impact your ability to rank well in search engine results". Most listings won't allow you to hide an exact address. Do the search engines understand this and therefore we won't get penalized? Thank you.

Would having 3 locations NAP in footer of site hurt?
We have offices in New York, London and Sydney. On our website, we used the Yoast local plugin and set up NAP for all 3 different addresses in the footer of the site - and hence all pages. Is that bad? Would G consider that as stuffing or whatever other word that they may deem to call it? Any help would be appreciated.
