How to find a skilled SEO sparing partner
-
We are in need of a skilled SEO sparring partner to work with.
We have already done a lot of SEO optimization but the results has not been as good as we hoped.
I believe that might be some issues regarding structure or backlinks holding us back from getting results as I can see many competitors with almost no on page optimization or quality backlinks ranking better than us.
I want to find someone who can audit our page find the problems. Also set some guidelines on what we should fix and work on to improve the overall rankings fast.
Thanks!

As far as my experience goes you are looking for a person who can audit your website and pinpoint the areas that are week and more importantly answer the question that why your competitors that haven’t really done any on-page is ranking better than you.
Once done with that, you obviously want them to work on the project accordingly. My idea is to look for the list of service providers that are recommended by Moz: http://moz.com/article/recommended
Another option could be to meet service providers in your local area and have one-to-one conversation about your website. Ask them some tough questions and if they are answering satisfied question my idea is to go with them.
I did a post about how to hire a digital marketing consultant for your business. Check this out and see if tips here can help!

Hi Martin
We worked on page SEO and created special pages for a list of 25 keywords.
We also optimized the speed and responsiveness of the page.
We are the most active on Social Media of our competitors
We also started working on Backlinks and I feel when I compare our profile we have link of the same quality as the top ranking sites.
I fear that there is some structure or technical issues or something with the backlink profile that cause we don’t rank as well as I hope.
We are ranked between no. 11 to 30 on the 25 keywords and the goal would be to get half of the keywords in top 10 within 2 months.

What are your expectations for the work that has been done so far and what has been focused on so far?

Getting SEO Juice back after Redirect
Hi, On my website, many product pages were redirected over time to its product category, due to the product being unavailable. I understand with a 301 redirect, the final URL would have lost about 15% of the link juice. However - if after some time (e.g. 2 months, or 1 year) I remove the redirection - is the original page going to have any SEO juice, or did it already lose all of it? Thanks,

How have your SEO Audits evolved over time?
Hi guys, SEO Audits used to be so focused on the basics like title tags, meta descriptions etc. but now more than ever, SEO is a discipline which encompasses everything from content marketing to UX design. Would be great to hear from everyone how their audit templates have evolved over time to keep up with the latest updates in SEO and algorithm changes! Which new sections have you added and which have you removed?! Cheers, Daniel

Hi Guys, I am wondering if anybody can point me to a recent trusted report or study on international domain name structure and SEO considerations. I am looking to read up on the SEO considerations and recommendations for the different domain structures in particular using sub-directories i.e. domain.com/uk, domain.com/fr. Kind regards,

Are tags an issue in SEO
SEOMoz saw that my tags were duplicate pages. Are tags a serious issue in SEO? Should I remove it entirely to prevent the duplicate pages?

The format for image SEO
Hi there. After looking at a few SEO videos relating to image SEO it seems important to ensure images are SEO'd just as well as pages. I however have a question. If the page is Meta titles the following: Online for Equine | Riding Clothing | Just Togs Latina Ladies Breech And this particular page contains five images which are each variants of this product, how is it best to SEO them? Would you go with the: Online for Equine | Riding Clothing | Just Togs Latina Ladies Breech Front Online for Equine | Riding Clothing | Just Togs Latina Ladies Breech Back Online for Equine | Riding Clothing | Just Togs Latina Ladies Breech Side and so on... Or would this result in keyword stuffing with Google's new over-optimisation rules. Would it be better to rename them so they are all individual? I am considering deleting the images, renaming them on the server as the SEO proof name and then re-uploading them so the Image caption = filename. Am I on the right track? How to Implement Massive SEO Modifications
Hi everyone, I'm implementing some fairly significant changes on a clients website and wanted to know if it was better to implement all the changes at once or if I should implement the changes gradually. The changes are: 1. Amended information architecture 2. Completely new URL's 3. New meta data and some new on page content 4. Meta robots 'no index, follow' approximately 90% of the site Can I make all these changes in one go (that would be my preference), or should I gradually implement? What are the risks? Many thanks James
