One more point to add here:
If you are looking at "Total Conversion Value" instead of specifically "Transaction Value", you could have other goals set up with some value tied to them.
For instance, you could have a lead page goal setup with a value of 1. Whenever an AdWords users hits that lead page, the Total Conversion Value is going to go up by 1. '
You can review all your conversions you are tracking in your account in the Tools tab under Conversions.

Alick has some good points, but I would also point out that depending on where you are accessing data in Analytics you might be picking up information for your Bing PPC account as well, assuming you have a Bing PPC account.
Do you have conversion tracking set up in AdWords? Are you tracking calls and clicks as conversions or are you only tracking revenue?

Hi Dev,
You are not going wrong any where. AdWords & analytics track data differently .Please read below two points your doubt will clear. I hope it helps you.
- Different attribution models: AdWords will give attribution to AdWords click during the set conversion window irrespective of other sources which may be involved during conversion. Analytics by default will attribute goal completion to last non direct source. For example User clicks on your ad on 1st January >> visits website and exits >> he visits website again via referral link on 5th of January and converts. AdWords will attribute conversion to AdWords click and Analytics will attribute goal completion to referral.
- Different Attribution for conversion date: AdWords attributes the conversion to click date while Analytics attributes goal completion to actual conversion date. For example User clicks on your ad on 1st January >> visits website and exits >> he visits website again via referral link on 5th of January and converts. AdWords will show conversion for 1st January and Analytics will show Conversion for 5th January

Setting up goals in Google Analytics
Hello! This question is seems so obvious that I'm also ashamed to ask... almost. If the goal of a website is to have a visitor complete a contact form, when setting up the Goal in Google Analytics (as a "URL destination") the URL of choice would be the form's thank you page, correct? Because that's the page that proves the visitor completed the task we want them the achieve. Right? Thanks!

Why is GG analytics showing so much (not provided)?
is there a better analytics tool (preferably free) that will show the actual keywords that drive traffic to a website or are we doomed to deal with (not provided) as a result of the Big G's retarded privacy policy? - seems they cant make up their minds as to whether they are going to take care of site owners or advertisers - but they should really take a stand and stop putting out half-ass results if anyone has any helpful ideas that may ease my pain i would be forever in your debt.
