Does having redirects in a Adwords text ad destination URL hurt quality scores?

I recently noticed that one of my clients had several redirects in their Adwords text ad destination URLs. I updated the destination URLS to land on the final location (thereby losing all the text ad history). However I'm wondering if this could have any impact on the text ad quality scores (none of them were disapproved).

In simple term answer would be No, that won't have a negative impact on your QS because the landing page is the web page the user lands after all redirects.
Second thing I would like to point out is Remember that the most important "component" of the QS is CTR.

Regarding Google AdWords, it counts the actual landing page that the user (bot) ends up at. So if you are redirecting from 1 page to another on your domain, that is perfectly fine. Google AdWords accounts for CTR, relevance etc. (see more here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454010?hl=en).
This means that the QS will be calculated using the landing page after all redirects, just remember to keep the number of redirects to a minimum due to load time for the user.
Another thing, if you wanted to make an ad which pointed to a redirect which did not work, your ad would get disaproved. Google AdWords will surely keep you notified if your landing page is not working.
Like Highland is saying, most often a redirect is used to track a click from AdWords, if they want to collect additional data about their campaign.

I've found that many sites do this, primarily for tracking reasons. Typically they'll do the tracking and then bounce you to a clean URL.
As long as the page is on the same domain and the end URL is relevant, I can't see how it would impact quality score.

I want to run google campaign for adwords and I want to target keywords that my competitor is ranking for. How can I know what are the keywords that are helping my competitors the most. Can a third-party advertising agency lock me out of Adwords?
Hey all, I've just started at a new company. We spend quite a bit on Adwords and I'm tasked with seeing how that is going and assessing that spend. The problem is, Adwords and Youtube ads have been given to a third-party advertising agency. They are only willing to share the number of clicks, cost and conversions, stuff like that. They refuse to give us access to the account. Is this legal? I mostly want to get in there to look at keyword history, see what we have bid on, how often it was searched, stuff like that. But they won't let us in and I'm wondering if they are required to let us look at our account as I would think they are. Please help!

AdWords Device-Level Bid Adjustments for Tablet not working for me
Yesterday Wordstream announced that AdWords rolled out device-level bid adjustments for tablet for everyone, but when I go into my campaign settings, it's the way it's always been, with no ability to adjust for tablet. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or is there perhaps some kind of setting I have to turn on? http://www.wordstream.com/blog/ws/2016/07/26/device-level-bid-adjustments I am so excited about this change, seeing as our cost-per-conversion on tablets is always twice what it is on desktop, and not having control over it was maddening.

Adwords structure issue
Background: We manufacture and sell our own products to the UK and English speaking world. We rank well for major terms but there is lots more traffic to be had with PPC so we've always used Adwords At present I target keywords in 3 ways. 1. I have an [exact match] campaign that I use to target terms like [acme widget] 2. I have a broad match campaign that I use to target keyword targets I have identified through research like +blue +acme +widget. 3. I have an even broader campaign that I use to target the very long tail terms that it would be too time consuming to create groups and ads for like +camo +rocket +acme +widget The problem: My 3rd category won't show! I use varied bids to make sure the more relevant ads show where they overlap (eg 2nd campaign bid is 50% of 1st campaign, 3rd campaign bid is 50% of 2nd) but 3rd campaign wont show for long tail searches when I test it with the random crap that people search for! I get the error message... Your ad isn't being displayed for this keyword because there may be other ads within your account that are ranked higher and have similar keywords. 2 questions I suppose, is my structure acceptable and if it should work why isn't it?! Adwords negative keywords / keyword lists conflicting?
Does any of you had any experience on large 5k+ shared negative keyword lists impacting normal campaign negative keywords in Adwords even if they are not selected on these campaigns? And a second question; does anyone know how selected negative keyword lists can be removed from a campaign? I seem to be able to add them but not to remove them... Cheers!

Why do some Adwords agencies insist on setting up Adwords in their own account?
I'm an online marketing consultant and I work with a variety of agencies who handle Adwords. I keep running into an issue where agencies want to set up Adwords in a proprietary account for my clients rather than in the client's account and manage it through MCC. I have just run into again and this time the agency claims they are protecting their Adwords "secret sauce" but that the client will still have full access to keywords, negative keywords, Ad copy, etc. It just doesn't pass the sniff test with me. Can anyone tell me if there are some legitimate reasons for an agency to do this other than to simply try to hold data hostage so that clients can't leave them without loss? I am inclined to tell my client they should run away screaming, but thought I would bounce it off you smart people first. Thanks!

Adwords Bulk Discount
Had a few calls recently from agencies offering bulk discount on Google Adwords spends if we pass management over to them and spend more than £5,000 ($7,500) a month, they claim they can offer a 5% discount over what we're currently paying... Can't find anything about this, does Google offer such a deal to agencies?
