Quality/Established blog showing DA1 PA1 on OSE

Hello there,

We have come across what looks like a high quality blog in our niche (interior design). The blog has been established for a while and is well designed. The content is of a good quality

The blog URL: http://www.apartmentnumber4.com

The blog has a good following across its social media accounts.

However, Open Site Explorer is showing DA1 and PA1

Does anyone know why that is?

Hi Robert.

I would imagine this has something to do with how young the domain name is. It was only made last month.

Hello Team, I was analyzing my domain (https://www.amzonestep.com) in link explored but there are many websites that are not showing there. Questions
1. Is this reason website's DA is not increasing 2. Is there wrong steps taken by me for this website. How to download full list of internal links properly with OSE?

Hi Moz Community, I am having issues getting a full list of my internal links when I go to the Open Site Explorer. When I export the internal links into excel, I am getting half of my URLs and 80% of what I am getting is absolutely crazy URLs that are super super old. Plus, these old URLs are not even showing in my campaign crawls. So the crawls themselves are different. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, since I am trying to get a full picture on the internal link structure of my site. Thanks!

Checking link quality : help needed

In my journey of learning which links are good or bad for my website I found the series pointed out in the attached image and pasted below: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/help-implementing-google-pagespeed-suggestions where I posted a forum comment just like this one on the wordpress forum asking for advice. Apparently this links is mildly spammy (spam score of 1). What should I do with such links? Remove them? emZXKI

Can't make sense of OSE and MOZ.

I checked this site on my OSE and it shows only 7 inbound links a DA of 14 and no social activity whatsoever yet when I check it on Majestic it shows ExternalBacklinks 71 ReferringDomains 20 Referring IPs 19 Referring Subnets 19 . And.. the page is #1 on google search for hypnotherapy michigan. How can it rate so poorly on MOZ, show so much more on majestic and rank so high on google? I thought MOZ data was supposed to be among the best and that top rated pages on google should also rate high on MOZ. here is the site http://hypnotherapy-detroit.com Additionally, when i look at the site, i notice that most of the backlinks are exchanged links and this site's link exchange page isn't even linked from the home page. Now I thought that kind of link exchange game was now discounted by Google. I don't get it. No social pages at all... low page rank... no new content.. so by MOZ standards there is no justification for this page to be anywhere near page one let alone at position #1. Can someone help me make sense of all this?

DA/PA Question

Hello Mozzers, May be a noobish question but I've learned to ask when I stuck. Can we calculate how many links we need to get for example a domain authority of 40. Like can we say, if we get 8 more 80+ DA links, our own DA rises to 40. I know DA/PA are just moz numbers and it takes a lot more to succeed, but I thought about it and now I want to know it;) Help is highly appreciated!

Competitor analysis, why they rank so much better [ecommerce/Magento]

For a Dutch e-commerce website, we're having some issuse being found & ranked on important keywords. I have done a detailed view into the content & technical part (html) of our website and a competitor's site. Our site is www.hond.nl (hond is the Dutcn noun dog, the best domain we could get)
Competitor: www.obobo.nl (no meaning at all) For searches for instance by dogfood (Dutch: "hondenvoer") we rank really bad while our competitor ranks really well. I've gone trouch the moz-tools intensively but can't figure out why. We got more content, more self-written texts, more incoming root-domain links etc. Any ideas were we could get a solution? Seems that our Splash pages are doing "ok" but especially Category pages are listing badly.

Drastic drop in LRD from OSE report has me confused... Any idea why?

We just got our report from OSE and a week ago we had over 80 LRD's with DA34/PA44 and now we see only 27 LRD's DA32/PA34? Why such a significant drop in our LRD's which I'm sure has affected everything else in the software. We checked Google Webmasters and don't see a drop in our linking URLs. We see it fluctuate all the time, but nothing like this. I'm not so much concerned with DA/PA at the moment as I know that dropped from lack of data the system can read, but why did over 60% of our LRDs disappear overnight? Anyone else seeing this happen to them? Our URL is whiteboardcreations.com
