How do I download a CSV of inbound links?
-
Just signed up and have a lot of (probably stupid) questions! When I go to my campaign in Moz Pro, Links, Link Analysis, I see a long list of inbound links. However, the only option is to export it into CSV via the Open Site Explorer, but when I open that up the list of links is completely different (and much smaller) than the one in the Link Analysis section. Is there a way to download the links listed in the Link Analysis section, and what is hhe different between the links listed here and in the OSE?
-
Anytime!

Thank you! I now see that I was filtering for "this page" and the links I saw elsewhere were for other pages. I can see them all now

Hi Lina
To match the URLs in OSE for inbound links
Search the root domain of the URL
Set the filters to:
Target: This root domain
Link source: all pages
Link Type: all linksTo obtain the FULL backlink profile, you would have the build an application to access our database via paid API apiwiki.moz.com

I'm sorry, I don't understand. I'm seeing domains in the link analysis that don't show up in any form in the OSE.
Is there a way to download all of my inbound links that are found in the Link Analysis section?
-
Hello!
In OSE we can show page metrics and only domain/sub-domain in Moz Analytics since we only show a snapshot of data there.
When looking at inbound links in OSE you can adjust the filters to show all pages on the root domain, all links (of external/internal or both).
If you have a lot of backlinks from the same domain, we cap the link data to 25 per linking root domain to help show diversity.
Hope this helps

Actually a good question. I havent stopped to look at this one before, following OSE for me the links are similar but definitly not the same.
I cant help with this one, but i'd love to know the answer!

Why does the MOZ bar not work on SERPs with site links?
Maybe a dumb question (am a beginner), but MOZ bar shows no information on SERP results with site links? I'm sure there's a reason? What is it?

Where are all of my on page links coming from?
I am trying to reorganize my site and with that my home page. I want to follow the 100 internal link rule. However when I run a Moz crawl test it says that there is too many on page links. I than went to Moz open site explorer and it said there is 237 links. When I exclude in bound links that still leaves me in the mid 100 range. After counting them my self I can only come up with 75 on page links. Does anyone know how I can find what Moz is referring to? And how I would be able to find where this links are? I might be missing something simple or maybe I don't understand exactly how the Moz tools work. That is why input from this great community would help. Thanks!

Duplicate page titles reported on same links
Moz is reporting duplicate titles on my clients website, citing different versions of the same link, one without dubs as domain.com/link and the other with dubs as www.domain.com/link. for example ... duplicate title = Warranty Requests For Custom New Home Construction in Jacksonville

http://www.myhjhome.com/new-home-construction-warranty-request.htmlthe links are the same, one is just with www and the other is without. in another example ... Moz reports 5 duplicate titles on the Home page, citing 5 different URLs that all load the same home page ...
duplicate title = Jacksonville Custom Home Builder, Quality Construction On Your Lot
http://myhjhome.com
http://myhjhome.com/
http://myhjhome.com/index.php
http://www.myhjhome.com/
http://www.myhjhome.com/index.php is this just something that's always going to be reported as a duplicate title or is there a way for me to change the website so Moz doesnt report a duplicate title on the same page (since there really isnt a duplicate title in these examples)?0 -

Mozbar highlight links in firefox
I use Mozbar to check for nofollow links on any website. Recently I changed from Chrome to Firefox and it appears that the link highlight function is behaving different on the latter.
Getting Started | | Trbl
On a page with nofollow in the robot.txt links are highlighted both when selecting nofollowed (pink) and followed (green) links. In Chrome it used to highlight only the nofollow links (as is correct in this case) Did anyone notice this behaviour too? Seems like a bug.0
