Campaign structure for seasonal client
-
Hi guys,
I've got a very seasonal client and I'm wondering which way would be best to set up a MOZ account for them:
- Option 1: Multiple campaigns (Same URL, Same competitors, Different keywords)
- Option 2: Single campaign (All keywords labelled by season)
- Option 3: Something else?
Thanks guys - All ideas welcomed!

Hi there
I personally like option 2 as I can keep all of my information in one place and label that information accordingly. There's really no wrong or right way to do it, that's upto you! Whatever works best and helps you make the best decisions is the route I would take.
If you have multiple competitors in different seasons, maybe a couple different campaigns would be good to set up for you. But as you said same competitors, I can't see a reason to have your information strewn about multiple campaigns. I can see that getting confusing, but I am basing that off of how my mind works.
Would be interesting for you to keep tabs on what you choose to do and turn it into a YouMoz post showcasing your findings - I can see this helping a lot of people!
Hope this helps a bit! Good luck!

Update the keywords entered for a campaign
I've created a campaign, and realized I left keywords off the list that I want to add. I can't figure out how to get back to the list of keywords I entered to update it.

I have a client with a wordpress.com site.
Is it possible to manage a campaign for such a site on Moz? It looks like in order to be able to add an independent Google Analytics tracking id, he has to upgrade to a business account. Does anybody have any experience with this?

Why cant I add my site to a campaign?
I am trying to add my site www.dominickdalsanto.com to a campaign and it keeps telling me the URL is invalid. I have tried entering it as: dominickdalsanto.com dominickdalsanto.com/ www.dominickdalsanto.com http://www.dominickdalsanto.com Nothing works. I even tried the redirect domains I have ayres-seo.com and still nothing. I tried a few of my other sites too and it works for only one of them. It also would not take dominickinargentina.com Can someone help me please? Thanks!

Problem creating campaign
Hello everyone! I am a newbie here. I am trying to create a campaign, however I got stuck at the first step! It says 'We have already started building this campaign. If you entered the wrong URL and would like to track a different site, please create a new campaign." please see attached image. I thought it would be very straight forward... I have tried to create another campaign with a different website and it worked, so I don't understand what has gone wrong with this campaign. It will be much appreciated if anyone can help with this... 😞 thank you very much !! Screen%20Shot%202014-08-12%20at%2022.39.39.png

I've tried multiple times (over 2 days) with every variation of the URL with no luck. Any ideas for why the URL does not seem to be working?

Campaign Setup Re-Direction
Hello!I am trying to setup my first campaign, we have a GEOIP re-direct in place for the .co.uk domain to go to the .com site however we have specified that bots do not get re-directed.When I enter the .co.uk domain name at setup stage I get the following message: "We have detected that the domain mywebsiteco.uk redirects to www.mywebsite.com. We do not recommend tracking a redirect URL. Would you like to track www.mywebsite.com for this campaign instead?" I have setup the rogerBot user agent in Firefox to see if I get re-directed but I do not so I can't figure out why i'm getting this message. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Chirs

What level of GA user permission is required to add a GA profile to a campaign?
Can I confirm whether or not a specific level of access is required to connect Google Analytics to a campaign? Or if access, whatever user permission level that may be will suffice? GA User Permissions
