Like Ryan said you are going to want to use a good analytics tools. I would personally recommend Google Analytics as it's free, continually is getting better and has great reporting functionality as well as customizations.
Using Google Analytics here are a couple of reports that might help you find what you are looking for.
First is the Top Content Report. Ex: https://skitch.com/dotcar/fe68r/top-content-google-analytics
This allows you to see the top content on your site. If you see (other) as the top page you likely have a large and very long-tail website. Else wise you will see the top pages of your site sorted by pageviews.
Next and probably more important when taking into account SEO is the Top Landing Pages Report. Ex: https://skitch.com/dotcar/fe6ex/top-landing-pages-google-analytics
This report allows you to see what pages your visitors are entering through. Think of it like how many doorways you have to your business and how many people are coming in them. This same report becomes extremely helpful when you apply custom segments from Google Analytics to only look at Search Engine visits or to only look at direct visits.

You'll want to use an analytics program. Popular ones are Google Analytics, AWstats, SiteMeter. I would strongly recommend installing Google Analytics, and getting confirmed as the site owner in Google Webmsters.

How do we find keyword opportunities - but not just against 3 competitors...
Hello everyone! How can I find out what might be a keyword opportunity against a competitor but make sure it's still a realistic opportunity in SERPS generally?* After all, we are not just competing with 2 or 3 competitors. We are competing against everyone! Perhaps there is a part of the keyword research process that helps? I can't help but think there's a wasted effort to just beat a couple of competitors unless you can rank well generally - especially if it's a competitive sector. (*I'm not in the position of making lots of pages as part of a long-tail keyword/ content strategy so I need to focus on just a few and make them count) Thanks in advance. Mp

History of Page or Domain Authority...how?
Hi everyone, is there a way (tools) to see the "history" of any given website in terms of Page or Domain Authority? Like if I went to Alexa and typed in www.angieslist.com it tells me the site ranks #**2,691 **Globally and #670 in the USA. But, is there a way to see how the rank has gone up over time, or where it was a year, two or more ago? Thanks

How can this website be ranking so well?!
This website: http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/domains?site=www.webuycarsyourway.com.au is ranking on page one for about 75% of a list of 300 car related keywords. They don't appear to have done any link building, no social media, appeared out of nowhere in April 2012 and SEMRush reports between 5,000 and 10,000 visitors per month. The only thing I can see is they have a landing page for every keyword with the keyword in the URL. But surely that can't be the only reason they're ranking well ? ?

Local Real Estate Site vs Larger National Sites
Hello all, I am a local realtor that created my website with an idx feed. I am on page one but at the bottom. Question is how can a local real estate website rank better in the SERPS than the larger national brands? Any tips out there from those who have worked with real estate websites and seo? I'm trying to out rank the larger sites for my main keywords. Thanks all.

How is this page ranking so high?
I have been using OSE, and I have come across a few sites that rank within the top 5 for VERY competitive keywords and seem to have NO inbound links to the page. Am I overlooking something? For example, Keyword: floor lamps Page: www.lampsplus.com/products/floor-lamps/
