Duplicated content generated by keywords
-
Hello!
I am kind of new to SEO and MOZ, so I really need your help to understand why some of my keywords generate duplicated content. Meaning, in my blog posts I use various SEO keywords. It shows up that in my MOZ crawl analysis, I have these keywords listed as duplicates: so two/three different keywords are pointing to the same articles and are considered duplicates?
I really don't understand how it is possible. Did it also happen to you?
I highly appreciate it.
Thank you

Two solutions in my opinion:
1. Hide the keywords and place a canonical URL on the existing tag pages to the main tag, category or blogpost pages
2. Keep the tagging and do the same as in situation one (canonical) :D. Just make sure you don't have more URL's with the same article.
Hope you can sort it out.

Yes, that's right, this is the case.
Even if I hid the keywords, will they still create URLs, generating duplicate content?
Thank you, Sander, I highly appreciate your reply

Is it the case that all three keywords are directing to a different URL (but same article)?
I've had some clients working with blogs and with 'tag' pages. They allocate tags (in your case keywords?) to an article. These tags are also accessible on a URL. All these URL's contain the same article.
e.g. www.example.com/blog/tag/keyword
This causes duplicate content. If this is the case, I would just work with category pages or with canonical URL's.

Unsolved How to find keywords your competitors rank for but you don't?
Hi, I'm just digging through Moz pro at the moment, and really like the true competitor feature, but would like to be able to see the keywords our competitors rank for and we don't, rather than just the overlapping ones. Is this possible at all? Thanks

Unsolved Why did I stop ranking on a keyword and how will I rank on it again?
I often see in my campaigns, that keywords which ranked on a page between spot 1 to 5 on the SERP stop being ranked on that respective page, causing the website to be in the 5th page or worse on Google. I also see that the keyword is not linked to a page anymore. What causes this to happen and how can I solve this from happening in the future? Capture.PNG

About Duplicate Content found by SEOMOZ... that is not duplicate
Hi folks, I am hunting for duplicate content based on SEOMOZ great tool for that 🙂 I have some pages that are mentioned as duplicate but I cant say why. They are video page. The content is minimalistic so I guess it might be because all the navigation is the same but for instance http://www.nuxeo.com/en/resource-center/Videos/Nuxeo-World-2010/Nuxeo-World-2010-Presentation-Thierry-Delprat-CTO and http://www.nuxeo.com/en/resource-center/Videos/Nuxeo-World-2010/Nuxeo-World-2010-Presentation-Cheryl-McKinnon-CMO are mentioned as duplicate. Any idea? Is it hurting? Cheers,

Reducing duplicate content
Callcatalog.com is a complaint directory for phone numbers. People post information on the phone calls they get. Since there are many many phone numbers, obviously people haven't posted information on ALL of the phone numbers, THUS I have many phone numbers with zero content. SEOMoz is telling me that pages with zero content looks like duplicate content with each other.. The only difference between two pages that have zero coments is the title and phone number embedded in the page. For example, http://www.callcatalog.com/phones/view/413-563-3263 is a page that has zero comments.. I don't want to remove these zero comment phone number pages from the directory since many people find the pages via a phone number search. Here's my question: what can I do to make google / seomoz think that thexe zero comment pages is not dupliicate content?
