Hi Anirban,
Your code is absolutely fine and nothing wrong with it. Just adding the required code does not guarantee that Google will start showing the sitelinks search box for your website. Here is what Google has to say in this regard:
"Search box not displaying? The Sitelinks search box appears only for navigational queries and when relevant for users. Google algorithms use a variety of factors to determine when the search box appears, including the information on the site and different types of navigational queries from Search users."
While there is nothing to fret about, looking at the authoritativeness of the website in question, you should start seeing a sitelinks search box depending on the type of queries users use in Google. When Google finds your website eligible for a sitelinks search box, you will most likely get a message to your webmaster tools account. Chances are more for a website that received very high number of branded queries.
Here is a Moz article in this regard: https://moz.com/blog/sitelinks-search-box
Hope it helps my friend.
Best regards,
Devanur Rafi

Desktop & Mobile XML Sitemap Submitted But Only Desktop Sitemap Indexed On Google Search Console
Hi! The Problem We have submitted to GSC a sitemap index. Within that index there are 4 XML Sitemaps. Including one for the desktop site and one for the mobile site. The desktop sitemap has 3300 URLs, of which Google has indexed (according to GSC) 3,000 (approx). The mobile sitemap has 1,000 URLs of which Google has indexed 74 of them. The pages are crawlable, the site structure is logical. And performing a Landing Page URL search (showing only Google/Organic source/medium) on Google Analytics I can see that hundreds of those mobile URLs are being landed on. A search on mobile for a longtail keyword from a (randomly selected) page shows a result in the SERPs for the mobile page that judging by GSC has not been indexed. Could this be because we have recently added rel=alternate tags on our desktop pages (and of course corresponding canonical ones on mobile). Would Google then 'not index' rel=alternate page versions? Thanks for any input on this one. PmHmG

No Local & Global Search Volumes Next to Competition%
Hi everyone at Moz, I am quite happy with the Moz tool but am surprised that search volumes do not seem available... What is the current status of the situation described in the Q&A below? http://moz.com/community/q/why-does-the-keyword-difficulty-tool-shows-no-search-volume When handling avg. of 1000 keywords and paying for a tool to calculate volume, competition & KEI I find it weird and annoying to find this information is not available. Does this mean that for each keyword one would have to enter it in the Google adwords keyword tool Thanks for your much needed help on this matter as this is difficult to sell to my clients and I need to make final Keyword choices soon and have no data availble. Greetings, Fries

Is it possible to change a sitelink title by off page SEO?
Hi all, I checked a website of my company: sitelinks in SERP are with the correct url, but one of the sitelinks’ title is completely irrelevant. Is it possible that it was changed from "outside"? Or maybe it's a bug? Thank you, Imre

How to add a disclaimer to a site but keep the content accessible to search robots?
Hi, I have a client with a site regulated by the UK FSA (Financial Services Authority). They have to display a disclaimer which visitor must accept before browsing. This is for real, not like the EU cookie compliance debacle 🙂 Currently the site 302 redirects anyone not already cookied (as having accepted) to a disclaimer page/form. Do you have any suggestions or examples of how to require acceptance while maintaining accessibility? I'm not sure just using a jquery lightbox would meet the FSA's requirements, as it wouldn't be shown if JS was not enabled. Thanks, -Jason

Authorship and picture in search results
Tim and Kris Hallbom at this site: nlpca(dot)com are authors of several books and many great articles, and they would like their picture to show up in their search results. Articlebase.com contacted us and called it authorship, and said that they could get our picture to begin showing up in appropriate google searches. But we don't want to go through Articlebase.com, how do we do this? Thank you.

Disallow: /wp-content Disallow: /wp-admin Disallow: /wp-includes
Disallow: /data
Disallow: /slideshows
Disallow: /page/*/?s=
Disallow: /?s=
Disallow: /search This website is running an up to date WP install with Yoast's Google Analytics and SEO plug-in. I can't point to anything specific that happened with the site when these URLs started appearing even after I modified the robots.txt. What can be done to try and stop Google from creating and indexing these goofy URLs? I see lots of sites having this issue when I search in Google, but no one seems to have a solution.0
