Please don't block access to foreigners. You can set the geo-target in Google webmaster tools account, if you have not already done so. It is completely normal with country-specific websites getting traffic from all over the World. A small or probably 1 in a thousand foreign visits might come from UK people traveling abroad. So to conclude, its my honest opinion not to block access to foreigners even the bounce rates might be alarming. Its common and natural and search engine like Google know about this pretty well and there won't be any issue to your website from their end.

Adding to the above responses. Just because of the fact that Google does not use the keywords meta tag for ranking purposes at this point in time, populating it with too many and irrelevant keywords/phrases can do more harm as doing so is nothing but abusing the tag and moreover it clearly conveys the intention of the webmaster which is none other than to manipulate the search results and there by to rank high for those keywords/phrases.

So you better leave this tag empty if your CMS generates the tag automatically.

If this proxy website is a clone of the original website and if its not blocked thoroughly from being accessed and found by the search engines, we have a huge problem and this proxy website should be taken down ASAP as this might create issues because of duplicate content especially if the original website is fairly new and the proxy website has some strong SEO factors like domain age, domain authority or page authority etc. Please do write back in case you would like to give some more details about the issue or have queries in this regard.

He is trying to consolidate or find the total number of landing pages that do not have any traffic at all. So, screaming frog seo spider can be used to crawl the entire website (with the substring in the URLs) and substitute the URLs that have driven at least 1 visitor. He is not trying to get a hold of his historic or old analytics data. The question is pretty straight forward unless I missed something.

Hi, you can use a crawler like Screaming Frog SEO Spider to come up with total number of pages with some unique string in the URLs, substitute the URLs that have traffic from these and the rest will be ones with no traffic.

You will have to use the paid version of Screaming Frog SEO Spider if you want to crawl more than 500 pages and here is the section of the user guide that tells you how to do a regex crawl:

1. On the Webmaster Tools Home page, click the site you want.
2. On the left-hand menu, click **Search **Traffic, and then click Internal Links.

While this can depend on the total number of pages from your website that are discovered by Google, this is the best way to achieve what you want.

The other tool that can show you internal links pointing to any page of your website, you can use Screamaing frog SEO Spider. This tool also gives you total number of out-bound links from a page of your website pointing to other internal pages of the same website as well as to the external websites. This tool is an indispensable weapon in any SEO's arsenal.

Hi, I don't think those are irrelevant links as the niche that the client operates in is somehow (the client's product is used or consumed by mining or construction industries) connected to these industries. Having that said, there is no clear line that can be drawn to define relevancy while doing link building. However, if you have a website about computer software and you fetch links from a porn website is something apparently irrelevant. Coming to the current case, I do not think there is anything that should be frowned upon and that you should be worried about. Just my two cents.

The answer lies in your question and depends on your decision as whom you would like to promote or build reputation for. So, if you want to build the rank for your brand, you go ahead and do so and if you want to build the author rank for a person (he is your brand in this case), you go for it. Let us take a look at a scenario. Suppose, I own multiple brands, I would build author rank for my name so that I would be recognized as the one behind all these brands. I am the brand here. Coming to your case, if I were you, if this brand is going to be my biggest investment or a dream project, I would stick to building the author rank for my brand as going forward, I can leverage the brand name and use it to my advantage.  Suppose, I am likely to come up with multiple web properties or brands in future, I would rather build the author rank for my name as I am the one standing behind all these brands or web properties and I want all the recognition and all my current and future brands can leverage my recognition.

there is no fixed time after which or under which an indexed page starts appearing in the SERPs.

I just checked your sitemap.xml file and it has only the https version of the URLs. In the index, I saw non https version is URLs are also listed. So there is no consistency. You have decided to serve the entire site in https and parts of it are still non-https. Serving the pages in https puts an overhead on your server. This might result in poor page loading times. If you have good resources on the server side, then this should not be a problem.

Though guys at Google say they don't care if the URLs are https or http when in comes to ranking but here I would like to mention as site loading time is an official ranking factor, when Google comes across two similarly capable and eligible pages competing for the same keyword, the one that has better loading times will be favored. By the way,  can you let me know the reason behind serving the entire site in https?

Please beware that http://www.peprismine.com, though it takes you to https://www.peprismine.com, it does not give an http header status 301 instead it gives a status 200 message. This should be fixed immediately. If you get this fixed, I think you should be fine technically but be careful with pages being served over SSL as this tends to screw the page loading times sometimes. You might want to look in to this. Don't blindly go by the page speed test scores instead, look at the actual page loading times. Agree with Chris. Redirecting low traffic pages to their high traffic counterparts is not a solution here for all the reasons mentioned by Chris. First of all, please do a thorough keyword research to find out if there is sizeable search volume for the keywords/phrases that are being targeted by the low traffic pages. It is quite possible that the phrase, 'black shoes' has higher search volume than any other colored shoes and that is the reason for that page to attract and drive good traffic.

Let me quote a situation here that we faced in the past. We had two products, one with a healthy search volume from local geography and the other had very low search volume. Except in few ways, the second product was as good as the first one. So we decided to create market for it as it lacked one here. We threw some freebies and ran a contest on our website and on social media platforms. This not only created awareness about the second product but also increased sales dramatically. Slowly, over a period of time, the search volumes for this product shot up which made us jumping with joy. Though this situation does not directly relate to your issue at hand, but just wanted to convey that, because something does not convert well, we should not drop our efforts to create more and more awareness about the product. Sometimes, adding in few extras with it might change the game for you. Just my two cents.
