Moz Local Address Issues
-
I've been having some issues with addresses recently that I've been submitting to Moz Local and I'd like to see if other people are having similar issues and how they are resolving them...
So Moz local requires you to have any Suite or Floor info on line 2 and I am having a hard time making this work with Google. It seems like they always add it to line 1 and when I call to get it fix it is like pulling teeth to get it right. There has been a couple times i've had to fight to tell them its not formatted right. All this trouble has really made me think about if it is worth it using the service if this is going to be an issue.

Yes your support mentioned that but the trick to that would have to get 2 check-ins to the facebook page because I could use that. I need to test it out and see how it works. I know its no your fault, its Google making things a pain.

Hi there!
I'm sorry for any trouble that you're encountering with the Google+ verification process! Since we are attempting to offer a more affordable option for publishing your listings, we do rely on these external address validation methods.
If you're finding that you're consistently running into issues with the Google formatting, an alternative option could be to create Facebook pages with the address info as you had intended it. I know it's by no means a perfect solution, but I hope this helps!

Incorrect client zip code in Moz Local
I have a client that I am pushing citations through Moz Local for. The business zip code in Moz is listed as 80111 and should be 80110. I have verified that the zip is correct on both Google My Business and Facebook. I'm not finding any duplicate Google pages either. Any Idea why this wouldn't push back to Moz Local?

Does Moz track mobile queries?
Sorry if this has been asked before (searched to no avail), and it's probably a dumb question... but if you're still reading... 🙂 I'd like to determine which pages of my site show up on MOBILE searches (i.e. user is on an iPhone). I know that Moz shows searches "from" a certain location, but my understanding (which may be wrong!) is that the SERP on a mobile device is sometimes different from a desktop search. Ultimately, I'm trying to decide whether to create a whole different layout for my home page ONLY for mobile devices, and if virtually everyone finding my site on a mobile phone would see that page first. I figured if Moz tracked "mobile SERP rankings", then I could simply see if any pages besides the home page are ranking for my targeted terms. Any thoughts or clarifications greatly appreciated! 🙂 ~ Scott
