Yahoo Directory unable to access a domain for submission
-
Tried submitting a website to Yahoo!'s directory but each time no matter how i input the domain i get the following error:
- We were unable to access your web page. Please double-check your URL.
Is there anyway to contact Yahoo! to request a manual submission?

I am experiencing the same thing! I just added my URL to Yahoo! directory (not search results), and I am getting the same error. Maybe, there is some kind of maintenance issue they're having?
I tried it with 3 different browsers for my site.

perhaps he/she needs to try a browser cache clear and is currently see old results?

The URL worked fine for me on the first attempt for Yahoo. I submitted to http://uk.search.yahoo.com/info/submit the first option "free submission".
The response: "Thank you! Your URL has been added to our list of URLs to crawl. Please expect a delay of several weeks before your URL is crawled.
Note that in the effort to maximize the quality of search results that appear on Yahoo! and our other distribution partners, we do not add every submitted URL to our search index. Therefore we cannot make predictions or guarantees about whether your URL will appear as a search result.
Submit your site to other Yahoo! programs:"

tried that, tried all variations:
http://www.jillybeads.co.uk
http://www.jillybeads.co.uk/
www.jillybeads.co.uk
http://jillybeads.co.uk
jillybeads.co.uk -
That URL has a 301 redirect associated with it. Try http://www.jillybeads.co.uk/

Can you share the URL so we can see if there is any problem with it?
-
The site appears in site explorer and there appear to be no issue with robots.txt
-
have you checked your robots.txt file? have you checked yahoo's site explorer (https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/) ?

Impact on backlinking with https://www.domain or https://domain
Hi, this questions have bugging me for a long time now; we check our website how is indexed on Google and we see that we have most of the backlinks for URL https://www.speedhub.eu , but 15% are linked to https://speedhub.eu , in the past we had our website for http requests redirected via 301 htaccess to https://speedhub.eu without giving it importance, now we have it with www included. Bottom line questions: Is it important if your links are with www or without www, do you lose "link juice" by splitting your backlinks via links with www or without www ? Does Google make a difference for domain positioning via this criteria ? Best regards,

Linking root domains to your own site
I have been using the moz open site explorer tool and glancing at my competition. I noticed most sites if not all in the linking domains section have a link to there own site. How do i do this? On my site i have no established links and my score is only 1/1. Even with lower ranking sites that have there own site linking to there self have a 16/16. Any help would be appreciated I am pretty new to all of this. thanks

Link building when your domain name is your head term.
Hello, I am working with a company that their domain name is the same as the head term. For example, if I was going for the head term coffee, and my site was coffee.com. This is specifically in the medical space, and i'm competing directly with Web MD and The Mayo Clinic, my advantage on the term is the EMD. We have a legitimate site with thousands of pages of relevant content, and I am starting a guest blogging campaign on relevant health sites. My real challenge is when I go for anchor text links should I ideally go for [head term] or [headterm.com] as the anchor text. Thanks in advance for your insights Zach

Directory Listing Quality
Have any of you ever purchased a directory listing with Absolute Directory (http:www.absolutedirectory.com)? I was thinking about suggesting it to some of my clients since it was inexpensive, had a good domain authority (58), moz trust (5.81), and didn't seem to be filled with any ads or obtrusive content. Any thoughts? Is this to good to be true? Regards - Kyle
