Access to GA revoked
-
Hi,
If the company gives me access to Google Analytics for two days, will I still be able to see the data after day three? I am interested in past data not the future or current.
-
No, once it's revoked you no longer have access to do that. I think he meant in the case that you hadn't lost access yet.
However, I feel I should ask, why do you want data for a website that you no longer have access to? If they revoked access, it stands to reason they don't want you to see their data. If you're still working with/for them however, then why not simply request access again?
-
So even though they revoked the access can I still download the old data?
-
The moment they revoke your access it's exactly that - you won't be able to access the data from that specific account.

GA Landing Page Inaccuracies
I had seen a thread on this a while back but no solution posted. There was a link posted to someone else explaining the issue but I got a 404 when clicking. Have a client that does mostly PPC and they are getting their conversion page showing up as landing page from paid many times. This is definitely not a sitelink, etc. The only way you get to this page is if you filled out the form. There are a few other pages showing up as landing pages that don't make sense too. Can this be attributed to someone being "inactive" for 30 minutes and then coming back and performing an action on this page (leaving)? If so, does this double count the conversion if a page visit here is a conversion? Just trying to make sense of the landing page report showing so many instances of our conversion page. Thanks in advance!

GA: How do I preserve custom dimension across domain and subdomain?
Using custom dimensions our site tracks logged-in vs not logged-in users on our shop site (shop.example.com). A user can only login on the shop.example.com. The problem is when the logged in user visits our the main domain (example.com), we lose the custom dimension and the user becomes anonymous. At this point, if the user goes back to shop.example.com, the logged-in custom dimension comes back. How do I preserve the logged-in user dimension across the main domain? Example of snippet:

Want to set up many goals in GA
Hi there, I have been reading about setting up goals in Google Analytics. There is a 20 goal limit, but I have many goals that I want to track (basically I have many thank-you pages that I would like to track). What is the best way to go about setting up more than 20 goals? Thanks

Can't identify the real source of a goal because subdomains in GA
Hello, I have one domain for my website (www.domain.com) where I receive all the new traffic and a subdomain (billing.domain.com) for the billing system. Im tracking both in Analytics. I have a goal (new order) configured in the subdomain -billing system-. But when I want to track the source / medium of the goals (new orders) in billing.domain.com, always appears my main website (www.domain.com) as the referral. Now I added in Analytics: Admin > Property > Referral Exclusion List, the www.domain.com and domain.com. Do you think that now I can track the real referrer of the goals? Or should I do a more complex tracking setup with Tag Manager ( https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/6106951 ) to pass the session cookies from a subdomain to another one, just to identify the real source / medium of the visitor? Thank you 🙂

GA stopped tracking traffic, suddenly, why¿? :-/
2 days ago GA stopped receiving data. It only stopped for one account of all my projects. At this moment there are 5 persons navigating the site and these days there where numerous visitors as they contacted the support team thru the site. GA says that it's receiving the code, hw, I checked it twice. The tracking code is located below the footer, in the body. It was there for few years.... I also checked if there is some js conflict, negative. Is there something that could make the tracking to stop? Does anybody experienced similar problems¿? Should I be worried...¿? (and with SEOmoz server with issues not sure when will see new results.......) EDIT: In Web Master Tools I see results for indexing, with yesterday date, so I assume that the site crawling is ok and must be GA issue.

GA Regular Expression
Can anyone tell me how to do a regular expression in the new version of GA? I want to remove specific keywords from organic reports. In the previous version of GA I used the following (phrase1|phrase2|phrase3) but that doesn't work anymore.

Want to link to GA profile, but the one I want is not showing in drop-down
How can I manually add the correct Google Analytics data in to my account? The two options I see on the drop-down are not the ones I want to select and I don't see a way to do it manually. Help!
