Onpage Grader not Finding Keyword in URL
-
I've noticed that the Onpage Grader is not including my keyword in the URL when the keyword is in the domain. If I grade an inner page and the keyword is in the sub-directory, it finds it. Is this intentional? If so, why does the grader not include my keyword in the domain as Keyword in the URL?

Hey Dino!
Since the domain is not actually www.locksmith.com or www.locksmiths.com, we will not recognize the keyword usage and the entire domain name counts as a single keyword. We do not recognize broad usage in the domain name as an exact match.
So what we are looking for would be considered as exact match hyphenated domains.
So something like www.seattle-locksmith.com would be two keywords in the domain.
Hope this helps!

Hi Dino,
Is there a green checkmark in front of it? I sometimes find it not very clear in the Onpage Grader if you do or don't measure up to the Ranking Factor. If the keyword is placed behind a domain www.domain.com/locksmith it should indeed be picked up by the Grader

Yes, it's a single word. My keyword is "locksmith" and locksmith is in the domain. Shouldn't locksmith be counted as 1 keyword in URL? Same thing with the keyword "heating" when heating is in the domain, but it's not showing in the Onpage Grader. Having the same issue with other clients.

Hi Dino, is the keyword a single word? With more than one word you have to use the"-" in the url to separate the words. Hope it helps!

In Moz Medium Pro how many pages can you track for keyword rankings at a time? I know you can track up to 50 in Standard.
I would possibly like to upgrade my subscription from Standard to Medium because I want to be able to track more pages in Rank Tracker. Unfortunately, the product descriptions do not include how many pages you can track in Rank Tracker.

I'm checking keyword difficulty for two different sites. Would love to view the results by site instead of just one large list. Is that possible? Or would it just be easier to keep the lists separate in Excel and just import when I want an updated report?
I have keyword lists for two sites. Is there a way to label them in the keyword difficulty tool (List A, List B) so I can just view results for a particular site? Or do I need to run the report with List A, export results, delete those keywords, then run the report for List B?

When Moz provides an on-page grade report card, what tells Moz which keyword to grade for?
I just started working with the on-page grader and of couse am particularly interested in fixing my pages with not so stellar grades. Can someone tell me how SEO Moz decides what keyword to grade a page for? I receive a report each week that tells me how many pages I have with A's, B's etc. But what tells Moz to grade a page for a particular keyword? Is it the first keyword listed in the meta description?

Adding Labels to Existing Keywords
Under "Manage Keywords", I've previously added several keywords that have been tracking for a month. It's easy to remove labels, but how can I add them to existing keywords? I tried re-adding them with the new labels, but no dice. If I delete them, won't the ranking history be deleted as well?
