Building Page Rank

I have a situation where there is a product category page with multiple products listed linking to individual product pages. The pages been around some time with no change. The strange thing is although page rank is reasonable on the category page it doesn't seem to be passing any rank to the individual product pages.
Any ideas to swing the roundabouts on this?

Page Authority is a measure of a page's link strength, so to raise it you'll likely need to get some high-quality external links to those pages.

Sorry I meant PA (Moz), not PR.
I know it isn't everything but it is a big indicator.
First level (homepage) seems to be ok.
Second level nav, seems to be very similar
but very little if anything seems to be passing to anything beyond or including third level.
It is only a low authority site, however the keyword I'm going after is very low competition. Unless I can get page authority up a tad of got no chance of ranking it.

Are you referring to the toolbar PageRank (the green bar)? If so, it hasn't been updated in ages and most likely never will be again.
That said, this was only a visual representation of what Google saw. PageRank as a Google metric is still performed internally and as far as I know, in realtime so PageRank passes - you just don't see it.
If you're referring to "page rank" meaning the actual rankings of a page - for that we'd need to see the pages themselves to know why they're not ranking is the category pages are doing OK.

Puzzled by high ranking page (#2 in SERPs) with zero/low page or domain authority
So, I get the smoothie that is page authority and domain authority and the link metrics that Moz uses to predict how well a page will rank for a certain keyword. I can look at a specific search term where we are on say, page 2 or 3, with a page authority of 1 and domain authority of 26, I get why competitors rank above us. But then I look at a keyword that is much more competitive, where we rank #2, which is awesome, where the landing page is also showing a page authority of 1, and domain authority of 26. How can we rank higher than competitors with a page authority of 56 and domain authority of 65? Their onpage optimization for the keyword is no worse, and sometimes better that ours but we maintain this ranking. By the way the competition also have hundreds if not thousands more linking root domains than our page. Any ideas why one keyword is a rockstar and one is a dud, with the same poor PA and DA?

Best Methods - Link Building
We are having more and more "new" customers coming to us who have been hit by various algorithms imposed by google. After we have run a site health check and corrected everything, we plan and come up with a link development plan which suits the clients needs. Much of out link development work is safe comprising of; 1. Guest Blog Posts - where we develop creative content with the customer to publish. 2. Industry blog posts - where bloggers write about i.e. "the company" 3. Social media - posting pictures, commenting on forums, etc 4. Paid directories with authority We don't develop links in any other way and it brings results in the long term. Is anyone out there doing something else? Building my Portfolio of 70 MicroNiche Sites (10-15 Pages of Content)
Hello Moz Community, I just bought 70 new domains in the past month in different niches with exact match domains, installing these sites on 2 different hostgator servers, installing all the plugins needed etc. and start publishing first 10 articles on each site. ( the keyword research was done with long tail pro and choosing the best long tails with MOZ difficulty grader that is under 40-45.) My question is the following: If I will have some of these sites that will don’t rank in Google in the next 3-6 months for the main keyword without building links…what will be the best course/method/resources I need to know about building quality backlinks and having the time to do these tasks on each website to be sure that every site will be a winner, or even 50-70% of them in both traffic & money ROI !?! I want to have a minimum of 10 sites that will make around 150$ per month because my Intention is to sell these sites on flippa for higher multiples of 15-20 monthly revenue. ( I sold my first website on flippa in September for 1650$ and is awesome. I want to repeat this success at a higher level ) Thank you ! I built niche sites since February 2012 but in terms of building backlinks to microniche sites I didn’t do too many things in the past when is about backlinking (just submitting in directories) so I ask about the experience of this community. Does this count as a backlink to my category page?
I am ranking high with a certain category page and I am reading that I need backlinks to that page. It is going to be a challenge to get a backlink to that specific category page but how about this? Category page URL: www.mysite.com/category/name Backlink to this URL: www.mysite.com/category/name/specific-blog-post (EDIT: Apparently these types of links don't exist! I went into the category page and clicked on a blog post and it just gave me the www.mysite.com/blah-blah-blah) Will that count as a backlink to the category page? Right now I am only getting backlinks to these blog posts: www.mysite.com/this-is-a-blog-post Any help appreciated! EDIT: Well I guess now my question is worthless. But if you have any input, it would be appreciated.

What should be the ration of inbound link between Home page and Internal pages?
What should be the ration of inbound link between Home page and Internal pages? And also wanted to clear my doubt, suppose My website is related to Technology niche with different technologies like PHP, Java etc. Is this better idea to submit internal PHP page link in PHP related directories? Although I know that in the most of the directories have very large number of categories.

Low page rank directories but high domain authority?
I just paid someone to submit me to a few directories and I saw were I was listed on one of them today. The url page authority of where I was listed was a "1" with zero moz trust and zero moz authority. The root domain authority is a "69". Is page authority or domain authority the most important for links? I believe all the directories I was submitted to have url page authority of "1". ( I watched a video yesterday and I think the head guy said that page authority was most important but I am not sure.

Do Expired Domain Retain Their Page Rank ?
I am a little bit confused about buying expired Domain Names because i have got mixed advice over the internet. Some Say That They Lose Their Page Rank And Some Say That They Don't.
