Has anyone else seen a large drop in Domain Authority this week?
-
A site of ours and its competitors have all seen pretty big drops in domain authority over the past week or so.
Just wondering whether this could be something to do with a change in how DA is measured or whether its our backlink profile that is the problem.
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

It's also worth noting that our last index update was on 11/12, so Domain Authority hasn't changed since then.

Domain Authority vs. Page Authority: What’s More Important?
I have a couple of questions about this. First of all is one more important than the other? Also, I currently have a website setup for https://gogoanime.city. How is it possible to grow page authority yet I am having a hard time growing domain authority. Thank you !

Subdirectories and Domain Authority
Hello, A subdirectory consolidates domain authority vs a ccTLD approach. However, for example, if a domain has been well established in the UK i.e example.com, is that domains authority diluted if a subdirectory is created i.e example.com/es Will some of the link juice attained on www.example.com be shared throughout www.example.com/es and therefore initially impact search visibility for www.example.com? I understand it works both ways as well, as any links attained on www.example.com/es will benefit the example.com domain. Thanks

I have a sub domain that has live content on it but the root domain redirects to another URL. I know this is not great but what are the implications?
I have a subdomain that is populated and has content. The root domain that the sub lives on redirects to an entirely different URL. I am trying to make a case as to why this isn't great besides the fact that it is just weird user experiences. What are the SEO implications etc. Would any equity that gets built up on the subdomain get passed along in the redirect? Or will there be indexation issues with Google? Cheers, Mark

Country Specific Domain
Guyz, we are new startups and have one very simple question regarding domain name. Should we use example.com or example.com.au ? Our Goal initially would be to target customer from Australia and gradually go global. So if we opt for .com.au we may have an edge in terms of local SEO in the beginning but lose out in the long run. What is the best way to tackle this? Thanks

How much domain authority is passed on through a link from a page with low authority?
Hello, Let's say that there is a link to site A from site B. The domain authority of site B is 85, but the link is on a page that has a page authority of only 1. Does much authority get passed along from site B to site A? (Let's assume site A has a domain authority of 35, if that's relevant.) Thank you!

Webmaster Tools and Domain registration
Hi, I have a travel project to manage and a question to arrange the registration of this page. Should I register in Webmaster Tools all domains which lead to the webpage of this travel company like abctravel.com, a-b-c-travel.com, adventure-bahamas-crew-travel.com and adventurebahamascrewtravel.com or only the main domain abctravel.com. Thanks for your advice.

My whole directory dropped from google
Hi there I have lost a whole directory in Google rankings and this is where my traffic was coming from. Do you know why this would happen? It is the eCommerce part of the site. So if I do site:www.domain.com the site is there and then site:www.domain.com/directory is not there any more. Thanks for your help.

Domain Forwarding Implications
Hi, I am working with a client who is planning to rebrand the company and set up a new domain. What is the best way to maximize and pass the authority from the existing sites (there are 2)? Each site already has many inbound links and have been around for a while. Should I set up 301 redirects for all of the pages? Should I set up domain forwarding? If I do this, what are the implications from an SEO perspective? Please advise. Thank you, Erin
