I thought this thread was in reference to the MOZ Open Site Explorer index update that was originally scheduled for the 2nd, then got pushed to the 9th (I believe), and currently says updated on the 14th. I was looking at the category where this was posted. Was there supposed to be a big update from Google on the 14th too?

Mozcast shows relatively mild changes the past couple days.

Lots of people saw traffic drops on the 14th because North American universities are into finals and semester break.
However, this morning most of my campaigns on SEMrush, spanning several very different industries were jumping all over the place. I went out and looked at the SERPs and didn't like 'em - even where my sites were up. So, if Google is floating new results out there today, I think that they are going to yank 'em back or adjust.

It says the data was updated on Dec 14th, but I don't see any changes for sites I'm tracking. However, I think they only pushed back the release date of the index two weeks this time, which, if you're looking for something positive, is an improvement. I think I'm going to start taking bets on how many times they push back the release date. I'd be willing to bet at least two times next month. My guess, next month's excuse is that the dog ate my computer. Hey, it worked for me in grade school too!

Location Data Batch Updates via the MOZ API
According to the MOZ API documentation, I am able to update multiple Locations in a batch in order to create or update their location data, currently 130 locations. I have successfully created a batch and the API returned the $id, as I expected. Yet, it doesn't make clear how the multiple locations I want to update are supposed to be sent back to the API. I was expecting an upload of a CSV file or JSON data, and not Query Parameter as noted in the docs. When including a JSON file, properly formatted, as a binary upload, the response is still expecting a locations parameter. Why does OSE show old data (Previous update results)?
Moz api started to show July 13 update results for my website. I checked it 2 days ago and saw all new established links and updated DA PA for July 27 update. But last 2 days both Moz Api and OSE main page show July 13 update results. Is there a maintenance or mismatching error between old and new databases?

Mozscape API Updates (Non-updates!) - becoming a joke!
This is the 3rd month in succession where the Mozscape index has been delayed. Myself and clients are losing patience with this, as I am sure many others must be. Just what do you suppose we tell clients waiting for that data? We have incomplete and sometimes skewed metrics to report on, delays which then get delayed further, with nothing but the usual 'we are working on it' and 'bear with us'. It's becoming obvious you fudged the index update back in January (see discussion here with some kind of explanation finally from Rand: https://moz.com/community/q/is-everybody-seeing-da-pa-drops-after-last-moz-api-update), and seems you have been fumbling around ever since trying to fix it, with data all over the place, shifting DA scores and missing links from campaign data. Your developers should be working around the clock to fix this, because this is a big part of what you're selling in your service, and as SEO's and marketers we are relying on that data for client retention and satisfaction. Will you refund us all if we should lose clients over this?! .. I don't think so! With reports already sent out the beginning of the month with incomplete data, I told clients the index would refresh April 10th as informed from the API updates page, only to see it fudged again on day of release with the index being rolled back to previous. So again, I have to tell clients there will be more delays, ...with the uncertainty of IF it WILL EVEN get refreshed when you say it will. It's becoming a joke.. really!

Don’t adjust your monitors, or think this is an elaborate April Fool’s joke, we are actually releasing our April Index Update EARLY! We had planned to release our April Index Update on the 6th, but processing went incredibly smoothly and left us the ability to get it up today. Let’s dig into the details of the April Index Release: 138,919,156,028 (139 billion) URLs. 746,834,537 (747 million) subdomains. 190,170,132 (190 million) root domains. 1,116,945,451,603 (1.1 Trillion) links. Followed vs nofollowed links 3.02% of all links found were nofollowed 61.79% of nofollowed links are internal 38.21% are external Rel canonical: 28.14% of all pages employ the rel=canonical tag The average page has 90 links on it 73 internal links on average. 17 external links on average. Mozscape Index update frequency problems?
I'm new to Moz, only a member for a couple months now. But I already rely heavily on the mozscape index data for link building, as I'm sure many people do. I've been waiting for the latest update (due today after delay), but am not seeing any mention of the data yet - does it normally get added later in the day? I'm not that impatient that I can't wait until later today or tomorrow for this index update, but what I am curious about is whether Moz is struggling to keep up, and if updates will continue to get more and more rare? For example, in 2013 I count 28 index updates. In 2014 that number dropped to 14 updates (50% drop). In 2015, there was only 8 (another 43% drop), and so far this year (until the March 2nd update is posted) there has only been 1. This isn't just a complaint about updates, I'm hoping to get input from some of the more experienced Moz customers to better understand (with the exception of the catastrophic drive failure) the challenges that Moz is facing and what the future may hold for update frequency.

Oct 14 2015 MOZScape update: none of DA are changed?
Hello, everybody. Today I noticed that finally the latest release of mozscape update has been posted. Now, I noticed that NONE of 25 campaigns websites NOR any of their competitors DA has changed. I do understand that DA can stay the same, but 25+25*3=100 websites domain authorities hasn't changed at all since August 4th (the date of previous mozscape release)? Or is this happening only to me? Please advise.

Domain Authority Decreased on May 5 Update
Why the Domain Authority of my website decreased? Last month my website www.i-phony.com domain authority was 32/100. but today I see the result is only 23/100 . What was the reason behind this big decrease !! Your answer is highly appreciated and very valuable for me. Best regards
