Why does OSE show old data (Previous update results)?

Moz api started to show July 13 update results for my website. I checked it 2 days ago and saw all new established links and updated DA PA for July 27 update. But last 2 days both Moz Api and OSE main page show July 13 update results. Is there a maintenance or mismatching error between old and new databases?

It seems fixed now. I have just checked again and fortunately new update results appears.

As i said before after 27 July update i checked several times and saw all new established links and increasing DA 5-6 points-up for my websites. But yesterday evening suddenly Moz Api and Ose started to show old data. Problem still persists.

We do not have a penalty system, but it's certainly possible that your metrics did not meaningfully change from one index release to another. It's all calculated based off the backlink profile we have for your site.

No way! Still it shows July 13 data for my all websites except one. That's very interesting. Is there any Moz penalty for some domains? I mean does moz have a penalty system?

Sorry for any trouble! While there can be a small time period after an index update in which the API is updated but the tools and apps built from it have not yet switched over to the new data, at this point everything from the July 27 update should be available from all sources. Unsolved Moz API returning incorrect PA data
So I've been attempting to figure out Moz API to allow for batches of URLs to be searched and the data to be nicely put into a google sheet. I've setup the MOZ API for sheets add-on and everything appears to work, but after spot checking some of my data, I've found that for some reason, the page authority data returned by Moz API appears to be way off the actual number presented by other Moz tools, such as the tool bar and main site.

Screenshot 2023-06-01 at 9.41.43 AM.png As you can see, in this one example off my list, the returned PA value is 6 points lower than the value returned from the Moz tool bar and website analysis.
If the data returned is incorrect, how is Moz API useful? Am I missing something? Would love some help or advice, as this tool would be very useful in a functioning state!0 -
API v1 still gets new data?
Hello! Do the v1 API endpoints provide fresh data, or do I need to use the v2 endpoints for fresh data? According to the v1 API docs "This guide outlines the endpoints for now archived Mozscape API endpoints." Does this mean that the v1 API only serves archived data? Thanks!

Beyond being punctual, the May Index is one of our most comprehensive and largest update of the year for Moz. Let’s dig into the details: 162,225,495,455 (162 billion) URLs. 1,135,327,420 (1.1 billion) subdomains. 194,346,505 (194 million) root domains. 1,168,465,575,815 (1.1 Trillion) links. Followed vs nofollowed links 2.84% of all links found were nofollowed 65.80% of nofollowed links are internal 34.20% are external Rel canonical: 28.89% of all pages employ the rel=canonical tag The average page has 92 links on it 76 internal links on average. 16 external links on average.. In lue of the canceled Moz Index update
Hey Moz, Overall we love your product and are using it daily to help us grow, part of that has been to rely on the Moz Index for DA and PA as well as places where we are doing positive linking through genuine partnerships and reviews of clients. We were really excited to see any the results for this month as we have been partner linked from lots of high reputation sites and google seems to agree as our rankings are moving up weekly. The question from our marketing team is, since a significant part of Moz will not be available to us this month, will there be any compensation handed out to the paying community. PS: I am an engineer and I know how you have probably lost a very large set of data which cant simply be re-crawled over night but Moz Pro is not a cheap product and we do expect it to work. Pulling large amounts of data from moz api
Hi i'm looking to pull large amounts of data from the moz and semrush api. I have been using seotools addon for excel to extract data but excel is slow, sometimes crashes and not very reliable. Can anyone recommend any other tools i can use, to pull huge amounts of data? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Cheers, RM

Any idea why HubSpot (which uses the MOZ api) can find our backlinks but OSE can not?
Links are showing up in the HubSpot link tool within a couple of days. OSE has our site showing zero backlinks. ahrefs is finding them too but that makes more sense. Does the API update more frequently than OSE? Any thoughts? Thanks!

On-Page Reports showing old urls
While taking a look at our sites on-page reports I noticed some of our keywords with very old urls that haven't existed for close to a year. How do I make sure moz's keyword ranking is finding the correct page and make sure I'm not getting graded on that keywords/urls that don't exist any more or have been 301'd to new urls? Is there a way to clean these out? My on-page reports say I have 62 reports for only a total of 34 keywords in rankings. As you can see from the image most of the urls for "tax folder" have now been 301'd to not include /product or /category but moz is still showing them with the old url structure. Top Pages metrics in OSE
Not sure if this is an API question or a feature request, but wondering if other folks had a way to do this: In OSE there is the dashboard for a specific URL that is entered into the search bar, giving you metrics at a glance on it. But I often find myself going to the Top Pages tab to get a sense of the domain as a whole. First off, wouldn't it be nice/is there a way to build my own "dashboard" based on info from that section? Specifically, I'd love to see at a glance the number of "top pages" that exist (many websites are well under the 10,000 page limit for this section, but there's no quick glance metric showing that) One thing that would be very handy for me would be a breakdown of HTTP Status info across the whole domain, as being able to see the raw total of different statuses (and the percentages of each based on the total number of pages) would be really helpful, giving me a sense if I should dig into any issues before exporting the list to CSV. I've found myself needing this type of info for multiple domains at once, so what would be REALLY cool would be a Google Doc where I could paste in different domains in one column, and this info being returned in other columns. I've searched through the Q&A and didn't find anything like this, and I didn't know how easy/hard any of this would be to do, but I was wondering if anyone else had a sense of how to solve this problem and how feasible it would be to tackle it.
