How I can improve my website On page and Off page
-
My Website is guitarcontrol.com, I have very strong competition in market.
Please advice me the list of improvements on my websites. In regarding ON page, Linkbuiding and Social media. What I can do to improve my website ranking?
-
As Matt mentioned above, this is very vague and would require a good amount of research. There are many tools and blogs available that help new and old sites begin the process of optimizing a website. I can give some advice on what I would do to get the initial setup going.
- Site audit - Run a site audit and find where issues may be. This means search for broken links, broken images, missing tags, duplicate content, etc. To begin ranking a site it's important to make sure the site is running on search engine's requirements.
- Review your link profile - Do you have spammy links to the site? Is the competition blowing you out of the water when it comes to links? Given your niche, there's going to be lots of competition, chances are you are far behind in the link area.
- Blog - In many cases this is a given, however, many people don't understand the importance of this step. Add new, compelling content people will want to link to. Research long tail terms people may be using to find products. This will give you a better chance of ranking rather than generic terms like 'guitar' which will have incredibly high competition levels.
- Syndicate your content - You've posted a blog, now what? Get it in front of people! Share it on social media and social bookmarking sites.
- Back link - I don't need to go over the importance of this step. Just remember, quality over quantity.
I hope this will help you get started, there's lots to do, but stay vigilant.

This is a very generic question not really suited to the Q&A forum. We can help with specific questions and certainly if someone is feeling extremely generous or has a lot of time on their hands they can help but this is too broad for the forum in general.
You should probably start with the Beginner's Guide to SEO and let us know specifically how we can help. Also, depending on your current knowledge you may want to find someone to hire who can give you a jumpstart toward your marketing goals while you catch up on the basics.
I don't want to spend a lot of time on a generic question but just as a starting point, your homepage title is super spammy and needs to be changed. It also looks like you've purchased links in the past or had an SEO company who treated your site very badly.
Good luck!

Category Page as Shopping Aggregator Page
Hi, I have been reviewing the info from Google on structured data for products and started to ponder.
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | Alexcox6
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/products Here is the scenario.
You have a Category Page and it lists 8 products, each products shows an image, price and review rating. As the individual products pages are already marked up they display Rich Snippets in the serps.
I wonder how do we get the rich snippets for the category page. Now Google suggest a markup for shopping aggregator pages that lists a single product, along with information about different sellers offering that product but nothing for categories. My ponder is this, Can we use the shopping aggregator markup for category pages to achieve the coveted rich results (from and to price, average reviews)? Keen to hear from anyone who has had any thoughts on the matter or had already tried this.0 -

How to improve internal linking for automotive reseller website?
Hi everyone, we set up a website for an automobile reseller. The site is online for about 10 days now and is doing ok. The competition is at a medium level. The URL is http://fahrzeugankauf-wehrle.de/ Now I wonder how I can improve the internal linking a little more. I already read this one https://moz.com/learn/seo/internal-link but still wonder whether I should link from the sub-pages with the main keywords like "auto kaufen freiburg" oder "autoankauf freiburg" to the mainpage.

Instead I am linking right now from the mainpage to the subpage "Auto verkaufen". Isn't this a bit contradictory?0 -
Google indexing only 1 page out of 2 similar pages made for different cities
We have created two category pages, in which we are showing products which could be delivered in separate cities. Both pages are related to cake delivery in that city. But out of these two category pages only 1 got indexed in google and other has not. Its been around 1 month but still only Bangalore category page got indexed. We have submitted sitemap and google is not giving any crawl error. We have also submitted for indexing from "Fetch as google" option in webmasters. www.winni.in/c/4/cakes (Indexed - Bangalore page - http://www.winni.in/sitemap/sitemap_blr_cakes.xml) 2. http://www.winni.in/hyderabad/cakes/c/4 (Not indexed - Hyderabad page - http://www.winni.in/sitemap/sitemap_hyd_cakes.xml) I tried searching for "hyderabad site:www.winni.in" in google but there also http://www.winni.in/hyderabad/cakes/c/4 this link is not coming, instead of this only www.winni.in/c/4/cakes is coming. Can anyone please let me know what could be the possible issue with this?

Duplicate page title at bottom of page - ok, or bad?
Can I get you experts opinion? A few years ago, we customized our pages to repeat the page title at the bottom of the page. So the page title is in the breadcrumbs at the top, and then it's also at the bottom of the page under all the contents. Here is a sample page: bit.ly/1pYyrUl I attached a screen shot and highlighted the second occurence of the page title. Am worried that this might be keyword stuffing, or over optimizing? Thoughts or advice on this? Thank you so much! ron ZH8xQX6

How can Google index a page that it can't crawl completely?
I recently posted a question regarding a product page that appeared to have no content. [http://www.seomoz.org/q/why-is-ose-showing-now-data-for-this-url] What puzzles me is that this page got indexed anyway. Was it indexed based on Google knowing that there was once content on the page? Was it indexed based on the trust level of our root domain? What are your thoughts? I'm asking not only because I don't know the answer, but because I know the argument is going to be made that if Google indexed the page then it must have been crawlable...therefore we didn't really have a crawlability problem. Why Google index a page it can't crawl?

Bad neighborhood linking - anyone can share experience how significant it can impact rankings?
SEOMoz community, If you have followed our latest Q&A posts you know by now that we have been suffering since the last 8 months from a severe Google penalty we are still trying to resolve. Our international portfolio of sports properties has suffered significant ranking losses across the board. While we have been tediously trying to troubleshoot the problem for a while now we might be up to a hot lead now. We realized that one of the properties outside of our key properties, but are site that our key properties are heavily linking to (+100 outgoing links per property) seems to have received a significant Google penalty in a sense that it has been completely delisted from the Google index and lost all its PageRank (Pr4) While we are buffed to see such sort of delisting, we are hopeful that this might be the core of our experienced issues in the past i.e. that our key properties have been devalued due to heavy linking to a bad neighborhood site. My question two the community are two-fold: Can anyone share any experience if it is indeed considered possible that a high number of external links to one bad neighboorhood domain can cause significant ranking drops in the rank from being top 3 ranked to be ranked at around a 140 for a competetive key word? The busted site has a large set of high quality external links. If we swap domains is there any way to port over any link juice or will the penalty be passed along? If that is the case I assume the best approach would be to reach out to all the link authorities and have tem link to the new domain instead of the busted site? Thanks /Thomas
