Exclude price in rich snippet markup
-
Our site has their prices hidden for non logged in users.
Its a woocommerce built site and the rich snippet markups are added by woocommerce.
I would like to remove the markup for the price becouse : 1, we would like our customers to register for prices. 2 i dont want to get penalties for not showing the same thing to visitors as to "google" ..
Any help or thoughts on this one?
Thanks
/ Jonas

That lead me to the right direction!
Got it all working with price excluded in the rich snippet, still validating as a product with reviews, sku and description.
My solution..
Create following directories:
wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/woocommerce
wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/woocommerce/single-product
Create price.php and ad it to /single-product
Ad this code to the custom price.php
if ( ! defined( 'ABSPATH' ) ) {
exit; // Exit if accessed directly
}global $product;
?>
get_price_html(); ?>

I don't know what kind of Woo + WordPress + theme you use. But you can download everything into separate folder and use tool to find text in all files. You just need to look who is responsible for "schema.org/Offer" adding into HTML.
Here is shoot in the dark:
https://webdesires.co.uk/blog/add-schema-to-woocommerce-products/
you just need to reverse this change.As i said - it's just guessing. Can be also in plugin somewhere.

Hi Peter and thanks for your respons!
Any tips on how to do this patch in an easy way?

Here is example of Rich Snippet w/o offer (with price):
ACME
Executive Anvil
Sleeker than ACME's Classic Anvil, the
Executive Anvil is perfect for the business traveler
looking for something to drop from a height.Product #: 925872
4.4 stars, based on 89 reviewsAs you can see this code can be validated and works OK. Now you need to go back in Woo and make "patch" to remove http://schema.org/Offer where is price located. OR temporary disable them.

Can You Use More Then One Google Local Rich Snippet on a single site/ on a single page.
I am currently working on a website for a business that has multiple office locations. As I am trying to target all four locations I was wondering if it is okay to have more then one Local Rich Snippet on a single page. (For example they list all four locations and addresses within their footer and I was wondering if I could make these local rich snippets). What about having more then one on a single website. For example if a company has multiple offices located in several different cities and have set up individual contact pages for these cities, can each page have it's own Local Rich Snippet? Will Google look at these multiple "local rich snippets" as spaming or will they recognize the multiple locations and count it towards their local seo?

Google+ Authorship, Rich Snippits and Three Names - a Problem?
Hello All, I have a conundrum that I thought I'd resolved - but that's popped its gnarly old head over the parapet again. I have a number of websites that I'd like to have show my ugly Google+ mug as author in the Google SERPS. I jumped through all the authorship verification hoops that Google threw at me and I thought I'd won. The problem? I have three names: Nick Beresford-Davies. One example of a page that I'm trying to achieve authorship with is: http://www.graphic-design-employment.com/illustrator-how-to-make-a-pattern.html I have verified authorship of the above website on my Google Profile:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/107765436751760696335/about Originally I footed the page with Nick Beresford-Davies (hyphenated) and the Structured Data Testing Tool ignored the hyphen and just saw Nick Beresford. So I tweaked my online name (to please Google!) to Nick Beresford Davies (no hyphen). Initially this seemed to work - but I just checked again and now Google, for reasons only known to itself, sees "nick davies" as the author, completely ignoring the name in the footer of the page (by Nick Beresford Davies) and the fact that the site has been verified by Google+. This is also the case for all other websites that I contribute to - and not all the bylines are in the footer - some are by the headline. When I test pages on the structured testing tool and enter my Google+ profile, it replies: nick davies, we've found your name as one of the authors from the page. You can use "Authorship verification by email" method above to verify your authorship.Error: Author name found on the page and Google+ profile name do not match. Please consider adding markup to the site.Much as I would like to succeed on the Google SERPS, I draw the line at changing my name to keep this robot happy - so if anyone has any suggestions, or can see any obvious step that I've missed, I'd be very grateful. I find it hard to believe that no other double-barrelled website author exists - so I'm hoping I'm not the only one to have experienced this... Thanks!0 -
Schema markup for video vs. Authorship: How will the SERP look?
All, Would love to hear from the community on the issue of 2 rich snippets appearing on the same page, will one take precedence in the SERP? For example, I am working with a client who has authorship markup on his homepage, we are going to add to that schema markup for an introductory video. Will the video snippet or authorship snippet display? Will both display?

Schema Markup and Google's Rich Snippet Tool
Has anyone ever used the snippet tool and gotten the following error "could not fetch website"? When using the tool and placing an url that does not have markup present it will show that as the error. Or if part of markup is wrong, it will diagnose it accordingly. Did a search online and found limited info...one of which someone had this error but when other users tested it, they were not getting the same error.

Rich snippets
Hi Everyone, Hope you can help me out. We have customer reviews on our product pages and are also ranking highly for those keywords for those product pages. To improve our CTR for those keywords I think to show those reviews with organic results using rich snippets would be a good way of improving CTR. I have asked my programmer to integrate this, which he came back and said after the rich snippets have been integrated we then have to ask Google to integrate it in their search results, is this true? I hope this makes sense. Kind Regards
