Google.com showing as backlink provider in Webmaster Tools?

Hi Everyone
Looking in the 'Links to your site' section of webmaster tools today and my top backlinking domain is google.com which is apparently giving me 113 links.
The second top referring site is googleapis.com which apparently isn't even a site when I type it into my browser?
Does anyone else get Google.com as a site linking to them? and why would Google be linking to us, where would these links be coming from?
Any info appreciated

Ahh yes! I've found it now, forgot I could click on the links to get more info, thought it would just take me to the site.
Turns out most of them are coming from Google Plus which kinda makes sense now.

I get lots of links from Google sites, orkut, productforums, groups, plus, app
If you drill down you can get the details.

Best way to build backlinks
Hey guys, I was wondering what is the best way to build back links ? I have all the read moz's articles regarding this and I know the crucial parts are creating content, engaging users via social media etc. What I am interested in knowing is whether guest posting is still a solution to create that domain authority you need to rank ? I've spoken with some people that told me guest posting is out of date and will not pay off using it. By using guest posting of course I relate to creating unique content and valuable to the user. Adding backlinks in old articles?
I am trying to get a few more links to get a few of my pages to rank and I am thinking about adding some more backlinks on my own site on some of the old blog articles as well as some of my other related blogs. My question is - is it still beneficial to link from these articles that are say 1 year old or more, or would it be far more valuable to write new articles on the blog containing those same links?

Other than great great content.Whats the easiest way I can still apply with great care to build backlinks. -Forum posting on relevant sites with great care.Only relevant areas changing anchortext. -Blog posts with minimum OBL. -Web 2.0 properties with unique content. -Press release with open URL. -Directory submission on PR sites. -Article submission on Ezine and other article sites. -yahoo and other answering sites. Google webmaster tools Who links the most updates?
Has anyone ever seen in the section in GWT "Who links the most" actually update. I have sites listed in there that had me on a blogroll so I had 93,000 links to me and they removed those links months ago but GWT still shows that number of links. Does anyone else actually see those numbers go down as links are removed?

Why don't directory backlinks show up in Open Link Explorer?
Why don't we see linking root domains like yelp, google, yahoo, etc? Is there any way to get a more accurate list of links to a domain where webmaster tools are not an option?

How do I Get a Link Off Blogger.com?
